Pero sabi nila you wont know what happened during the Martial Law era because news outside the Philippines were cut off. In my opinion it was deliberately good for you want your children , if you are a parent or parents who want your children to learn your own country not the country of others. It was actually a blessing in disguised that the country of Philippines were in order during the Martial Law era because children that time are more educated, organized and respectful of their family, friends and relatives. The family values are intact and well, FILIPINO VALUE is the first and foremost the essence of culture UNTIL when the Martial Law was lifted and the veil of all scrutiny and bad information proliferate and spread like wildfire after that. You want to be westernized and avoid any consequences arising from all the failures that happened in 1900? Unbelievably after Martial Law everything turned upside down what a man has dare improved the Philippine as a whole good wholesome image was changed drastically because of wrong perception and value of being Filipino. That's the problem. Anyway, problem din yan ng ibang bansa. Pag maputi ka at blonde and blue eyes ka people mistake these people as Americans. O, tisoy sya...American yan. Yung anak ko American daw dahil maputi, eh Canadian sya. Eh ako maputi ako, Canadian ba ako? Hindi. Feel nila Chinese ako. Sabi yan ng mga Canadian. Ewan si Pnoy ba Filipino? Are you sure? Baka si Jim Carrey lang yan. lol. Aahahhah. Or Ford Taurus or Minivan ? Expedition or Dodge Ram?

Have you seen those cars and vans being used in the latest movies such as Transformers being burned?
