LIVE, DIE, REPEAT!

 What's this I heard that the plan to bid the Olympic Games in British Columbia resulted not in favor for such world event because of its cost about more than 2 BILLION DOLLARS! 

Winter Olympic Games is surely a very costly, expensive event especially if you don't have the proper venue built for the large event that caters to millions of people including the tourists and visitors that will be the spectators for the game. 

Vancouver already spent hundred millions of dollars built for the venue during at the time of Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010. The problem of such event were not the venue or the volunteers but the place of accommodation for millions of visitors, as there was not enough hotels, motels or housing for them to stay for the long duration of the event. Then at the time of the event, for whatever sort of crazy phenomenon, NOT ENOUGH SNOW! Absence of snow in most part of the event at WINTER! That was so shocking that the event organizers had to order truckloads of snow to fill up the Winter sports arena. Then after the event is finished, some of those "visitors" would rather stay in Canada for good. Security becomes stricter and costly because so many of those who would like to stay protested and rallied with placards of OCCUPY the place for their own means. The OCCUPY MOVEMENT.

Why? Hmm, maybe The Occupy Movement had the ancient  map of their own to peruse for their mission. What Occupy Movement looks like? Just like those extremists of the POINT BREAK almost suicidal in their goals. They thought they can "live, die, repeat." They are to the  extremes as if they are powerful, influential, and they thought they are GREEK GODS & DEMONS. They probably are...if they can live forever.

Now you probably know why many countries who sponsored OLYMPIC GAMES are reluctant to hold the larger than life event and would rather screen everyone including the Olympian athletes.  

If you can live, die and reborn...

China had their own way to stop such problem and conflict. The screening is more like a humiliation. The pandemic is one of a kind of lowering the cost. ? Really? I don't know if that's a Novoland: Eagle Flag or Nirvana In Fire inspired strategy. ?

TV Series, Weather & Sports

 It was last night when I watched the continuation of FIRE COUNTRY starring Max Thieriot, where he portrays the role of an inmate turned firefighter at Edgewater. He is also the SEAL TEAM (NAVY SEAL - Clay Spenser). Two popular television series where he is one of the lead actors. Good for him, he is a very talented actor. He had his beginning with regards to acting in the movie PACIFIER with Vin Diesel. 

I'm glad that FIRE COUNTRY series is at Global TV Channel instead of Paramount +. 

Another worth-watching new television series is LAZARUS PROJECT. It is a science fiction based upon the life of George experiencing "groundhog day, over and over again happening on July 1st). He tried so hard to change the repetitive, routine event on that fatal day but all over again the unfortunate event happened like as if he had no control of it whatsoever. He came into contact with secret agency that deals with control of doomsday event from ever happening and they must stop and prevent it. However, the project was so dark as making him feel psychotic and for whatever reason the agenda and objective  had changed. To be continued: Next Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 6pm Showcase.

Today is Saturday and maybe SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is live tonight...maybe.

Tomorrow is Sunday October 23, 2022 and the continuation of  THE WALKING DEAD. Only few episodes left to the finale.

Also, the continuation of  THE RESORT. Noah & Emma embarked themselves in their search for the missing teens taken by Balthazar away from Oceana Vista hotel in Mexico. Noah stumbled over at the location where Emma had found the old cellphone of the missing teen and coincidentally Noah found another cellphone closer to a tree and that maybe the "missing link" to their quest.

CORRECTION. Balthazar is Balthazar Frias, the investigator/novelist/tailor. Alex is the demented old, mysterious man who went missing with the 2 teenagers: Violet & Sam.

VAMPIRE ACADEMY. Hmm, academy for the vampires! lol. Vampires and werewolves. In this horror television series, the Queen of Vampires is 200 years old. More of a royalty of vampires in modern world representing those in the royal families. Something funny about it no matter how scary it is.

KUNG FU is quite good, something new in quest for old, ancient heritage and "guardian of Chinese secrets" we like watching it until those two guys started kissing each other. Infusion of homosexuality lowers its standard. I am not amuse anymore.

THE GOOD DOCTOR series is amazing until homosexuality and those homos (2 doctors) doing it in the hospital like its a cheap motel, maybe we don't need to watch it at 10 pm. Or stop watching it because of those homos.

THE CLEANING LADY & LA BREA are two tele-series we have to watch for on Monday & Tuesday.

TENNIS? I think the Canadian tennis players ( Felix Auger Aliassime, Denis Shapovalov, Pospisil, etc.) will play in Vienna, Austria Tennis Tournament and hope it will be televised on regular TV instead on You Tube.

WEATHER. Still Autumn in Canada. 15 C at CRBC and possibility of snowfall in parts of Alberta & Toronto. Maybe it will snow early in Mount Washington. If no snow yet? hey, what artificial snow can do for the wealthy wanting a piece of Winter?

Colors May Change Everything

 Isn't that weird that TV Networks didn't even televised the tennis tournament match in Stockholm? The tennis tournament has only one channel focused on Guadalajara in Mexico. They didn't show tennis match in Florence, Korea and other venues for tennis. You can watch the games shown in You Tube or PPV- Special Channel. The sports being broadcasted more often than not are baseball games, basketball, football, soccer, and other sports not really worth-watching. It seems that Sports Networks have favoritism. Actually noticed that they don't even want to show hockey games because of the "scandals." 

But who cares anyway? I think it has something to do with sponsors. You need lots of advertisements to go with broadcasting sports otherwise it gets canned. Or the prize for such sports event can pick up more TV Channels. Any thing less than $1 MILLION in Prize seemed not a priority for showing it on TV.

So Vancouver Canucks >  another night of losing the game. Or it is acting up as BANK (VANCouver) all black pucks getting inside the net become the fund. LOL. Canucks are Whales so that's what it is, the black pucks caught in the Canucks net is their food. Or could it be The Canucks Team's only playing for a month and if they keep "losing" maybe they want out of the game and they can go for a long vacation in the North Pole. That's the ideal place for whales. maybe they should change the color of their team jersey suits, change it to red and orange. Colors that could make other hockey players go blind on the icy arena. Ha ha ha! That's what it is. Some teams are so clever in wearing the brightest, vibrant color jerseys that blindsided other players. In Sports, COLORS MATTER so much as its ultimate end or the rise and fall of the main objective.

 I happened to watch CPAC, the process at which the Parliamentarians run the Canadian Government and there was QUESTION PERIOD as usual and most of the questions are "the same" and the question directed to the Prime Minister of Canada JUSTIN TRUDEAU. Wow! Those guys are roasting him like crazy! With the same questions time and time again and they were replied with the same answer again and again in different manner and statements, until finally the Prime Minister asked them to help in the task of what should they have to do together. 

In a burgeoning problems of the Government and if the budget is not enough, all the Parties: Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Bloc Quebecois should set aside their differences and start uniting for the good and betterment of the country, politically and economically. Why divide when you can unite for common good?

You don't like to end up like RUSSIA Vs UKRAINE.

Sometimes DIVERSITY works and sometimes not. But you know, they are educated and they must comply and prove that they have what it takes after all they were there to WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. It's not that they have to work to serve their ambition or help themselves to enrich, make themselves rich and add problems and conflict. They were elected to serve and they must serve and fulfill those duties and obligations because it's the people who still pay for  their services.

Sometimes It RUNS. Sometimes It Walks. When Are They Going To Fly?

 I once posted here on my blog about me don't care about SPORTS. Yeah, sometimes don't care about it but when I realized that some sports teams are being victimized by random cheating or the supposedly or would be winners became the losers at the end, something is very wrong.

Then I came to the rescue.

I am not a gambler. I don't gamble on who wins and who do not. 

However, if those teams or sports team or players want to sell the game for profit it is not our business to stop them. It is their business not ours. 

SPORTS TEAMS are owned by wealthy, powerful, influential  corporations. CORPORATIONS!

How corporations are run?

You wont believe how it runs. Sometimes it runs like a government. Sometimes it runs like a religious pilgrimage. Sometimes it runs like mobsters.

 

 

STEAL

 WAR OF THE WORLDS. New television series (not the movie of Tom Cruise) with foreign actors as cast of this scary, surreal invasion of "aliens." The aliens are "humans with some peculiar taste for human blood" they are not vampires but the blood transfusion helped these brand new aliens to survive on Earth. The Earth 's sky is like a canvas of grey sky not blue sky and a huge black hole appeared and they don't know what it is. Dr. Catherine Durand who is a scientist trying to pinpoint the origin of the giant black hole and its gravitational force had her time warped from the Earth to a chaotic version of Earth where her sister is alive not dead, all the while she was actually in a coma inside the hospital. Mind boggling of course. 

In this series, robotic dogs without heads are the terminators, owned by humans with black tattoos on their hands that symbolized two circles ( circle within a circle).

LA BREA. Continuation of this science fiction series: Eve and Levi were captured by the men in leather suits and let them work in a cave digging for coal. They planned to escape. Eve was outside the cave and found that her ex- husband Gavin was also captured. More dialogues then later Eve, Gavin and Levi planned the escape however, they were captured back again and back to the cave... While Lucas, Veronica, and Rohan decided to steal food from the villagers. Rohan had other plans... and he saw the old comics of  " Journey To The Center Of The Earth" by Jules Verne in one of the outpost, and a flashy card with an inscription LAZARUS. He took the card and hid it, however on the way to the ruins, somebody was following him and asked if he found what she wants. Rohan gave it to the female doctor but she told him to keep it because it might open the doors to bring Josh and Riley back to the sinkhole and to "3000 BC." 

Hmm...dunno how the series will be interesting for those who love Star Trek. 

SURVIVOR. The VISI team finally won and had the prize of  fish for food but they can trade it with something else from other teams: COCO & BAKA. They traded the fish with basket of fruits. Then one of the Visi members has to steal or trade with fishing gear, cassava roots. 

To think that there are cassava root crop in that Fiji island, there are fruits such as papaya, etc. Those teams who didn't win anything got nothing to eat? Or they don't know what is growing in the island? Mind blowing. The island is surrounded by ocean water, there are school of fish, whether you have no fishing gear you can probably swim and capture fish or crabs or look for oysters on the shore of the beach. There are coconut groves. They stayed in the island for more than weeks after weeks and they cannot build a house made of bamboo and coconut leaf sheath. Hard to believe. 

Have you seen the movie BLUE LAGOON? Kids could live and survive without parents or any older people in a remote island. Why old people with more experience and skills cannot build a house that could last for their one month stay at least or long duration of their stay in an island. Or could it be when the cameras stop grinding then they have to sleep and stay in a luxury hotel and come back again to the island feeling like impoverished, tired, hungry and filthy. Maybe that's the idea. That their families once they saw them how unhappy, crazy, dirty and feeling like they are suffering, they  will bail them out from the island. Because at the end of this show, the one who should win never win anyway, just like those who competed in BIG BROTHER shows. Whatever.

Movie I enjoyed watching recently, NOW YOU SEE ME 2 (Story of the illusionists and magicians). Brilliant. The writer/scriptwriter of this movie is a genius.

HISTORY sucks! History sucks the living hell of everyone. Unspeakable!

 Whatever is happening in Ukraine at the time of war is somewhat similar to the ethnic cleansing in Yugoslavia (Bosnia, Hercegovina, Croatia and other cities within that European country and had its extensive war to Serbia). It was chaotic, many lives lost and properties gone and destroyed to ashes and after years of fighting then the resolution of infrastruction. The building again or renewal of civilization. Then who owns those properties now? You wont believe...those who invested in the war. Sorry, not a secret! It was aired on documentary channel. HISTORY folks.

You know old civilization, the rise and fall and rise again. Almost systemic. HITLER, the NAZI is systemic.

When you see Zelenskyy asking for more funding for the war... asking billions of dollars, asking for more arms, weapons, etc, etc. More death after death and how many casualty to defend the already rotten, destroyed buildings and lives? 8 months of war and still going? Trillions of dollars in funding cannot put back the lives of those families  who perished from that stupid war. Maybe those leaders want to be infamous for World History books. Investing trillions to quadrillion of dollars in Ukraine , is it worth it? Too many other countries worthy of investment or conquest. But Putin's claim is that Ukraine belongs to RUSSIA and thus, it was not a crime to get it. Ukraine belongs to Russia not to Zelenskyy. Just like Mindanao belongs to Philippines. As simple as that. Do you understand?

When will it ends?

What are they building up there?

Getting rid of ancient, old, rotten asbestos buildings built in 17th, 18th Century? 

The GLOBAL CITY was built inside the military camp. It was SOLD. SOLD! Who gets the payment? Did they receive the payments for the land acquisition? The developers paid for their developments to happen in that area. ? So that those infrastructures will be built according to plan by developers. No lives lost or destroyed. No forceful migration happened. No aggression, no war. No one begs for mercy and no refugees. ?

Controversial Stories for TV Series

 THE CLEANING LADY the continuation of the series that brought TNT families from Phils. in the US their complicated stories intertwined with so many troubles after troubles when Thony (Cambodian surgeon, married to a Filipino whose son had a life-threatening illness that in order to save the son's life had involved herself in the works of the mobster leader named Arman, and thus give Thony her new life as the "cleaning lady" for the mobs). To make things complicated, Thony was also a double agent for an FBI agent. While trying to keep herself away from troubles after her son had the transplant in Mexico, her sister-in-law got caught in an attempted homicide. Thony tried to help but the problem keeps getting bigger until she can no longer bear it and asked the help of Arman to keep the extortionist from further complicating the matters that will implicate Thony's nephew to a crime caught on outside camera owned by the extortionist who happened to work in that building. Arman had to do what he needs to do to keep the extortionist from bothering them. This series is really full of troubles, conflict and it seems that Thony and her sister-in-law are now part of the mob. It's not what they dreamed of, it's not an American dream. It was actually a real life nightmare.

THE GOOD DOCTOR. After months of recuperation, Dr. Audry was welcomed back by the whole hospital staff at San Jose Buenaventure Hospital. Despite of her disability she will have to perform an operation based on her expertise but knowing she is half paralyzed using wheelchair for her mobility in and around the hospital, the nurses and therapist helped her regain her confidence and tried to make the OR a place of convenience for her, however, there is difficulty experienced by Dr. Audry that Dr. Marcus (Harper) had to relieved her during the operation. While Dr. Murphy had one new resident surgeon (whose medical expertise came all the way from Afghanistan). However, Dr. Murphy doesn't like this new surgeon's attitude and he is willing to fire her when she reported her to Dr. Audry. Whether the heart transplant (from a pig to human) was just a trick sort of to test the new resident surgeon Dr. Powell was irrelevant or meant to offend the wife of the heart transplant victim or Dr. Murphy is suffering from illusion or delusion of grandeur? I don't know. Just that Dr. Murphy is showing inept strange attitude towards Dr. Powell. lol. Wonder why. Because she is acting like a waitress instead of a doctor? Dr. Morgan and Dr. Park were two doctors divided by their ambitious career and love loss that they seemed to bark at each other's nerves. Dr. Glass suffered a back injury and together with Dr. Audry had their therapist attending to them. Before the end of last night's episode, Dr. Audry blamed Dr. Murphy for her leg paralysis. After she was saved twice!! She flatlined twice. She could have been dead. While the nurse who was the target of the assailant was not hurt badly. Waitcha, why the assailant looked like Dr. Park? lol. Anyway, tell Dr. Audry that maybe that's one of the worst thing that happened in medical diagnosis with the help of MRI scanner. She also had a booboo with Dr. Glass when she informed him that he had brain cancer, in which she, Dr. Audry opened up Dr. Glass's head and played with his brain and had taken out his position as Hospital's  President or what is his position as the CEO?  He could have a paralysis too but you know...medical series such as this one is a product of fiction. 

For those who were flabbergasted that Wilbur the pig will be euthanized... did you hear those kids crying?

Truth is stranger than fiction.

 Why too many medical series on TV? Is that their training ground for would be doctors and nurses? They played their roles, their parts more convincing than those who work for the hospitals and clinics. If those thousands of health care workers aka actors are using the hospitals and clinics for their drama series, no wonder why there's no more space or vacancy in hospitals for the real patients. WAIT FOR THOSE ACTORS to finish their acting once and for all.

Hmm, I could be wrong. Maybe they have their own studio with their own hospital equipment, tools and the MRI scanner, as in they are provided with the true, real modern convenience of medical supply and modern tools for their "acting."

Happened to watch THE RESIDENT and the hospital had way too many healthcare workers, more than hundred with few patients and the schedule of patients being admitted to the OR had to be cancelled in favor of the most patient that need the service promptly as possible as in EMERGENCY. That an unknown victim with a gunshot wound , ONE BULLET, they need to help save his life, even if he doesn't have the information they need, no insurance and his burgeoning bills up to more than $400,000 and still going up for the recuperation and recovery. Who pays for his bills?

LOOK PEOPLE! Especially you the health care workers, that set up a great example of following Hippocratic Oath. Good. For greater good.  What better lesson you learned from saving the life of a gunshot wound victim who is at the mercy of your service. You should be thankful you save his life and you gained knowledge from such OPERATION. You know how surgeons are trained long time ago? They are deployed in war torn countries, where they have to be in actual war zone, missiles being fired, bombs after bombs falling from the sky down to the ground and those medical surgeries were to be administered perfectly without hesitation, risking their lives to stay and survive and save the patients as well. Double pressure. Lots of pressure!Those highly skilled surgeons are now your surgeon generals. Their specialization is more than what you can take. Some doctors are highly skilled and have the specialty and respect that other health care workers don't have. 

Anyway, looking back to the old news from our TV, about those international students (from other countries) who complained about the high cost of living in Canada and to include the $75/month for health insurance they have to pay when they are only studying in Canada on scholarship program. Hmm, that's too much right? $75 per month. The monthly rent for an apartment is costly too. Living in Vancouver mainland is not cheap. I think they should have thought about it that sometimes "scholarship" meant something else, especially in Canada in a country with widely diverse community of ethnic , ancient, mentally challenged individuals. SCHOLARS. Scholarship must include scholars who know about accounting or simple math. Scholars who know how to budget and know the consequences of their actions and their advance thinking and resourcefulness. To gather information first on how you will be able to live in the most expensive city of Vancouver because ... even the richest, wealthiest people are struggling.

There are vocabulary words in Webster's Dictionary that have double meaning. Caution to the wind.

By the way, the vandals are caught on CCTV at Jack Poole's Light Cauldron (Olympic Games Cauldron). Two individuals were caught that looked like shadowy dark beings, one holding an ax? or a hammer? The video's not really so clear though, not showing the faces of the vandals. But they were "caught" because of their "bragging rights" as they confessed to their friends and then was reported. That's what it is. Some random guys could brag about it just to gain 15 minutes of fame on TV. Then they were to do community service and gain employment. I don't know if they will be arrested or put to jail. Bragging rights of being the guys that hammered the Olympic light cauldron? Wow! Fame! Flame!

At least it's not earthquake! Earthquake and or tremors in that part of the city would mean a huge downfall of the economy especially in the business of condominiums and skyscrapers being built for the refugees. Aren't we all suffering from high cost of living already?

The Good Doctor

 THE GOOD DOCTOR. Heart-wrenching, heart-pounding moments on this medical series Episode: Afterparty. The wedding celebration is over! Blood all over the victims, Dalisay and Dr. Audry down on the hospital floor, the assailant was nowhere to be found until he took some hostages in another room with 2 doctors and one patient suffering from abdominal pain. The cops and security guards arrived to save others from being stabbed, shoot at or injured but the perpetrator of crime turns out was an outrage man who was known to the victim Dalisay , the nurse who was fired from work in previous episode by Dr. Audry what could be the real behind the conflict was further confessed to another doctor (Jewish doctor who is gay and in a relationship with another male health care worker) while being hostaged in another room.

Dr. Shaun Murphy, Dr. Glass and Dr. Harper were in a rush to save the victims of stabbed wounds. They saved Dr. Audry and Dalisay. However, when they thought Dr. Audry was far from  worst after the surgery, suddenly she flatline and once again the doctors/surgeons were in panic to revive Dr. Audry. Dr. Shaun Murphy suddenly had a panic attack that made him in a screaming fit. It was too much for him to lose another life and the flashback of memories of his brother who fell from the bus and hit his head and body on the concrete ground when he cannot do anything to save his brother's life made him deliriously helpless and seeing his dead brother "alive" in his "imagination" just spark the will to save Dr. Audry's life, the tears falling from his eyes cleared his vision and realized that he can see what's really wrong with Dr. Aundry's heart. Once again, Dr. Audry got the help she needs. The infusion of more tragic drama when the cop shot the health care worker who was actually the "killer," the doctors don't know what to do whether to save the life of that man or Dr. Audry. But Shaun insisted on helping Dr. Audry. Hmm...strange? ((Rumors had it that the actress playing the part of Dr. Audry wants to quit the series. So in fairness whether to have Dr. Audry die in that scene would be her greater exit from the show, just like most actors/actress in popular shows/series)). What happened to Lea's part or role in the picture or scenes? She was overshadowed by other dramatic actors and actress. But it's okay.

Anyway, after all the panic stricken health care specialists, workers and all the cast in this dramatic episode, everything seems like an after  catastrophic storm of events. They saved everyone including the stupid murder suspect whose hands were strapped on the bed with metal handcuffs and guarded by a cop. However, Dr. Audry's leg as they found out has been paralyzed.

Yeah, always something that there will be a conflict, problems after problems in medical series. Great acting! They need an award for this season premiere episode.

NOTE: Surgeons should really wear high-powered eyeglasses to help them with any type of operation. You guys are not superman whose vision are just normal. The minute details or anatomy of vital human  organs, its veins and inner lobes, tiny human parts such as blood vessels are almost microscopic don't really know how those surgeons can see with just a 20/20 vision. Extra vision is a must for those surgeons especially aging doctors.

I was thinking of those med technologists whose vision about the COVID VIRUS as a different kind of virus when its only a COLD VIRUS. The VICKS spray on your nose could defeat them. Then MACGYVER had a solution... lol. OMG! ah, you should watch that episode of such cure. Too much to bear.

TV SERIES

 ELEVEN YEARS! And still counting...yep we watched last night's episode of the WALKING DEAD episode LOCKDOWN.  Who wont be? Watching TWD every Sunday night at 6 pm is already sort of our "Angelus." oopsi, j/k.

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE is now a television series. It started with a movie starring Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt. They resurrected the movie into series with new cast of characters and change its story, with infusion of homosexuality. Darn it. I'm out. Don't like watching it anymore.  

THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY, hasn't watch it yet. Maybe tonight.

I think every television series that I really, really like becomes non-stop just like NCIS. Would you believe NCIS television series is now 19 years on TV? FBI series also is becoming a non-stop series and so as MACGYVER. TV series you don't want to end.

My favourite drama/comedy show in the Philippines wont really come to a halt only when some of the cast called it quits or they died of old age. 

Same thing with my favourite cartoon shows. LOL. 

6TEEN is one of my daughter's favourite cartoon animated show on TV. At least this fun, clean animated show is good for kids. Very entertaining.  She still watches SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS though no matter what. Make her happy. I like TOTALLY SPIES too with Clover, Sam and Alex. I like it because of the action/adventure theme and because they are the only cartoon-animated characters with different set of clothing as in they are fashionable. Other cartoon characters do not change clothes such as FAMILY GUY, AMERICAN DAD, WACKY RACE.

So, it's Monday again. I don't know if THE GOOD DOCTOR will be aired tonight at 10 pm. Too late for me to be watching it. 

THE RESORT tv series is going stronger every Sunday night. More mysterious situations and additional dark sides being unfold one by one and the mysterious painting on the wall of the hotel Oceana Resort in Mexico keeps adding cast on its frame. Hmm... spooky eh?

AMAZING RACE starring Phil Keoughan as main host traveled  once again with contestants in point destination from Munich, Germany to Innsbruck, Austria then to where? Don't know, find it out every Wednesday on CTV. 

SURVIVOR returns to Fiji. Another cast of survivors battle with the day to day living in the remote island and they have to build their own dwelling or shelter for the long duration of their stay and for as long as they survive the many challenges asked of them to do by Jeff Probst. 

BIG BROTHER CANADA will soon air its season's pilot episode maybe SOONER than later.

LA BREA didn't have its trailer and all of a sudden has returned on primetime viewing.

Who knows maybe THE LOST SYMBOL of Dan Brown will have its sequel.

SPORTS? I don't know. I don't care! lol
