Just watch HUNTER KILLER recently, action/suspense movie starring Gerald Butler (from the movie OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN) & Gary Oldman (BRAM STOKER'S) OMG! IT was a real good movie to watch from beginning to end. Highly recommended for you to watch it.
How terrifying would it be for he captain and crew of submarines as they navigate the sea floors, down below the ocean listening to sound waves only and the high tech devices could only scan the traces of movements through sound and waves created by other submarine that the sub crews must be highly skilled and specialized hoping their mathematical calculations & listening skills must be precisely perfect to pin point the location of any weapons being fired at them or else instant death would be upon them. Approach-avoidance conflict and trust administered in order to survive.
SURVIVAL SKILLS? You must have basic instinct just like animals having sixth sense to know who are predators and who are not. Highly skilled men and women in uniform knew the value of team work.
