I think no matter who the Prime Minister of Canada, the POTUS in the WH wont change his mind in his Tariff War with Canada and other countries. He wont back down. He is stubborn. 

TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in deficit. Where to find budget for the GOVERNMENT to work and pay for its government officials and employees. How each Department & Agencies continue to work when their is no BUDGET? That's the question. The POTUS wont be able to rely on Elon Musk all the time for the yearly budget. And if it does then that's the reason why there is nationwide DOWNSIZING.  

You know with thousands of billionaires and millionaires who should PAY THEIR TAXES instead of loopholes... United States of America need not to downsize. Then include those 300 MILLION TAXPAYERS who should pay taxes then USA wont have this huge of an economic crisis. 

However, IT IS WRONG FOR FOTUS to increase tariff to 25% when almost all exports are in billions of dollars (from Canada to US) That would mean no profit for businesses. IT IS WRONG to cause the down fall of STOCK MARKET just to get even or revenge as in intention to cause economic crisis globally. To cause another reciprocal tariff just to cause another injury will be a cause for majority of Americans to call for IMPEACHMENT.

IN CANADA where everyone PAYS GST & PST + Income taxes that alone contributed to its great economy. All goods and services with corresponding taxes and check and balance always been a testament to its yearly balance of budget. Accounting works well in Canada.

The RESOLUTION of counter tariff was the first solution by former PM Justin Trudeau and must be raised if its necessary. PM Carney promised that the tariff imposed on US imports will be allocated for the workers and aluminum/steel manufacturing owners of business.

Well, it is up to manufacturing business or exporters to pay for the tariff (exports to USA) and its their decision whether to make deals, transaction or shutdown their business or have their products marketed and distributed locally. Other options: Trade with other countries.

How BUSINESS is dealt with anyway? From one company to another NOT with politicians. To include the whims and desires of politicians in your business means graft and corruption. Remind yourself of the movie "American Hustle." That makes sense?
