 Finally they caught the suspect, the killer of Charlie Kirk (political activist, host of Turning Point podcast). You wont believe it's a young man age 22, Tyler Robinson, known among his peers as smart, had perfect grades in school, had scholarship in Utah Valley University. But what happened? Why waste his future to this nonsense of killing somebody just to justify his opinion of Kirk's promoting hate. Tyler Robinson looks like the younger version of Adam Driver the actor.

Remember Luigi Mangione. who also killed the CEO of United Health Care whatever? Another smart young man whose hatred had led him behind bars.

There are too many smart young men out there who are leaders of civic organizations, political activists who want to make a difference in their lives. They see unfairness and injustices and they take matters into their hands when justice is too slow. Remember the movie FOURTH OF JULY? Tom Cruise as a very young recruit soldier wanting to help other country Vietnam because he thought that country is "his own country" that his mind thinking is to serve and protect. Later on he became an activist and had led to the ousted of Pres. Nixon. Well, that's what it is. When you go to war in other countries, you are the invaders.If you fight in your own country for democracy... who are you?

A TV host in American news network asked her guest if there is civil war in the USA. Hmm.. why that intriguing question? Do you think there is a civil war in the US? Based from the news on TV and all the hype, it is not civil war but kind of Martial Law because of the presence National Guards or the Military where the POTUS wants to deploy them in different States that he thinks hostile.  From Pentagon to Department of War says it all. Who knows it could be civil war. What he is doing is just a "step by step" to that process. Well he could explain it to the Americans.

At least in the Philippines when former Pres. Marcos declared Martial Law... it was like a State of the Union and declaration was heard loud and clear nationwide over TV. It was because the Secretary of Defense (Juan Ponce Enrile)and his entourage was ambushed, assassinated but "survived." Also in the 70's when Vietnam's war coming to an end, too many refugees were coming in  of ying yang in the Philippines. Problem is we don't know who were Vietnamese (South) or Vietcongs (North Communists) Hard to tell because they speak the same language, they are looked alikes. Not much of difference. Anyway the rest are confidential.

Did you see the news about Mr. Poilievre asking for security protection for him and his family maybe receiving threats for being vocal as a politician. Conservative Party is the Opposition Party for now. NDP leader? Nobody yet to replace Mr. Jagmeet Singh. Nobody to represent the Green Party. I know there are a lot of unhappy upset people in Canada. PM Carney finally has projects after long months of visiting other countries in Europe. Had donated or funded billions of dollars for Ukraine for the war effort that never ends while Canadian Armed Forces were into poverty. There must be something that is so charming about Zelenskyy eh? Is it the double y? Trudeau had the same attraction to Zelenskyy. But he's charm don't work for Trump. 

Makes me wonder once again. I think have to consult the magic crystal ball. LOL

It can get really hot at summer season so be caution not to get dehydrated. Shower at least twice a day or stay in a cool place or shady area. Most people stay at the beach or where there is body of water: river, lakes, bay. Some people will stay at air-conditioned mall.  At home, don't worry about using your electric fans or air con. Better be safe than sorry. 

The conflict between Israel & Gaza continues. Kids being killed trying to get aid and food supply. Malnutrition becomes a normal problem for children under age 10. There's really no source of food in Gaza other than the ones being donated by United Nations. The relief of foods are for the Gazans but it seems that it is not what is happening over there. So strange already. You can only see this kind of horrible situation in movies but what's happening in Gaza is real. It's more like what happened during the Holocaust when the NAZI persecuted the Jews and in our generation  the Gazans are the ones being persecuted because of the evil Hamas.

Weather today: It can only go up to 21 degrees Celsius in Vancouver. Thunderstorms forecast in the interior part of BC and other provinces. I hope no lightning. 

THE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL VS THE BIG UGLY BILL.  lol  Bill that most Americans despised. You know the weirdest part in politics is the usage of certain word that goes on and on like a broken record as if theyd have dementia. Heard what Sen. Nancy Pelosi about that bill? Buffalo bill. The bill that nobody wants. Bill is something to be paid. How much is that bill? How humongous that ugly bill? Hmm, I should not get into that bill. It's more like into sports again and the word BILL is NOBODY REALLY LIKES BILL.  If you will use the word BUDGET for the fiscal year maybe. But no. So tiring and boring already all the same story all the time. Are you not bored?

DESTINATION X - hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (of The Walking Dead fame as Negan). Last Tuesday, Destination X was in Salzburg, Austria. Although Mac was unable to find a key and had to stay at the old, ancient castle's dungeon, she knew the clues that they were in Salzburg. However the last map destination locked in had all of them with the same answer. So Jeffrey had to give another trivia of how old the castle and when it was built. Peter had the closest answer and he was asked to eliminate one of the contestants. Unfortunately Peter had chosen Mac out. Teary eyed Mac can't believe it. See, what happened to somebody who is giving the answer? It's a contest. They should not reveal their answer to anybody. But some of them are playing the "social game."

Did you know that there will be a sequel to the famous SOCIAL NETWORK movie? Once again you'll see the famous talented actor Jesse Eisenberg in his portrayal as Mark Z.

I know so many of the news don't make sense. Just like what happened in Azerbaijan. Why other countries asked payment for the CLIMATE CHANGE in their countries? What's the cause of climate change in their countries? What is the cause of floods, hurricanes, and the poverty in their countries? Do they blame the well developed countries for the poverty and global warming in their countries? Why are they not blaming their own country's leaders? 

This is how you should blame the well developed countries. 

1. If your country becomes the dumping site for oil and gas from a shipwreck or environmental disaster such as spill or leakage of hazardous toxic waste.

2. If your country becomes a dumping site for all the garbage, cargo containers,scrapyard from all the old rubbish electronics, refrigerators, old cars and trucks.

3. If your country becomes the dumping site of old missiles, old WWII tanks and artillery, and weapons of mass destruction.

 

HOWEVER... if your country's mountains had  been denuded and bald because of deforestation and had been greedy with mining, and all the severe pollution that the factories in your country unabashedly continue without control and without following the rule of law including OVER POPULATION causing so much carbon in the air, also the cause of rapid pollution in the forms of garbage, health woes and the malady of poverty... TO BLAME OTHER COUNTRIES on the way you live is certainly unfair. THEREFORE IT IS ONLY FAIR IF THOSE COUNTRIES WHO ARE "OVER POPULATED" CONTRIBUTE TO THE GLOBAL WARMING FUND.

Just TV

No SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for Saturday, yesterday. Due to the pandemic you are not allowed to laugh. LOL.

Two Terminator movies were featured on movie channel and one of them was TERMINATOR: Genesys with Emilia Clarke in it. Emilia Clarke is the lead actress in the famous GAME OF THRONES, you know the "Mother Dragon" and the lead actress in the movie "YOU BEFORE ME." My daughter watched it but I was busy preparing for dinner. Next time I will watch it from beginning to end.

(OMG! My keyboard is functioning in a very unusual way, sometimes missing one key letter that I have to press the key harder).

Last night 2 episodes of BELOW DECK for us to watch until 11 pm. I don't know if you are watching Below Deck starring  Captain Lee and crews of VALOR (Kate, Jen, Matt, Nico, Brianna, Baker, Chris, Bruno, and different guests per episodes).  I think they don't have a script in this show or there's a need for script. Quite entertaining. Then at 11 pm another episode of BELOW DECK MEDITERRANEAN but too late for me to watch it.

I glanced over the last news on TV at CBC News Network and then fell asleep.

Then today, what's the latest news? Extension of the news from last night and the so called "Fall Peak" of the pandemic and the RECOVERY PLOT.

CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency) was once again hacked! Hey, how many times now? I hope Canadian  tax payers wont be paying their taxes to India.

NEWS IN THE USA:  US Pres. Trump in mourning due to sudden death of his brother who died at age 71. While he worries about the US Postal Office on how the election will turn out this year. It's a different generation and at the worst time of the pandemic that voters would rather choose to vote by sending their votes through mails. The snail mail system!

Canadian farmers in a pickle! ? What? Whatever.
Temporary foreign workers are much needed in the agricultural sector according to the news.
It seems like Canadians wont work in tending and cultivating the farm lands. It's an easy job actually.
You have heavy industrial machinery to do it so it's the "picking" that the farmers want to have to do the mending.

The target is actually HK business men. The very rich people in Hongkong. Canadians want the wealthy people in Hongkong to invest in Canada. Everyday, almost everyday in HK TV Canada placed advertisement for Chinese to move in Canada. They want RICH WEALTHY people to INVEST in Canada. They did have fruitful harvest by having thousands of Chinese move to Canada before Year 2000. Only to be dismayed about the TAXATION process here in Canada and one by one they decided that Canada is not the kind of dream they have. TOO MUCH TAX. BIG TAXES not enough profit. Nah! Go back to Hongkong! Ciao la!

NOBODY has seen what M.I.A.'s gesture is. It's always been MADONNA the focus of camera. I don't know what these critic are talking about. Half-time show is half-time-ing. Make The Politicians WORK

Last nite happened to watch MAKE THE POLITICIANS TO WORK. Before it was the NDP Leader Jack Layton who was trained in the hospital to help deliver the message, helped the doctors and nurses assist patients, moved wheelchairs, cleaned urinals and bed pan, mopped floors, cleaned beddings and sanitized beds and a lot of hospital work that need introspection. For a Canadian NDP Leader doing such kind of meticulous care of patients you can only admire the guy. Then here comes another member of the Parliament Mr. Peter Mackay. This time he joined the Armed Forces. He was trained under Sgt. Carr and his troop doing what newly recruit soldier is about to embark in its field military training. Yeah just like what you have seen in movies like WE WERE SOLDIERS of Mel Gibson and STRIPES of Bill Murray. This is the first time that a seating MP participated in such kind of military training. Isn't that amazing? According to Sgt Carr TIMING IS EVERYTHING.

Punctuality, obedience to authority is part of the training. Being most respectful to the leader for its the leader who knows what every good soldier should be doing first and foremost the function of any soldier depends by their RANK. You know... So he was trained on too many obstacles, survival on modern battlefield, physical endurance, strength, agility, combat, and the Sgt. thought he's good grip about what's happening in the military based on his own experience in that particular training. Then another military personnel McNeil trained him to jump while his military uniform was heavy with loads. How heavy their backpack and armory? No one can tell how much or how heavy their loads until you carry them with you.

Later on he and the rest of the troops or platoon have BIG MAC for lunch. And that's what it is intended for people who viewed the training done voluntarily. Only at CBC News where things happened extra ordinarily. Who's next?

Breaking News Is Random

Breaking news is random! That's how I write here on this blog. I write, I think and tghen edit if there's a need for it . Justification>?

Breaking news on TV? How they process so many news coming from their network? How they assumed the news story is original? Hoax or scam? Or just plainly rubbish? How they determined if the story is real or propaganda or just to let the people out of their homes unto the street?

I remember the Edsa Revolution years ago during the overthrow of power. The People Revolution as they call it ousted the Marcos Family and its regime calling him a "dictator." Well folks that's the name of the machine he is using. Is he a robot or the machine? That I don't know.

What I know that brings the people on the Edsa highway is the FREE PLATE OF FOOD while they watch the hundreds of celebrities singing and dancing. I want to go there too to watch the presentation of a well planned movie of some kind. Relaxation with FREE FOOD and with free viewing of celebrities. Wow! That's what it is. Siempre maraming TAN-GA kasi.

But ...however I was busy. I have a work to go to. You cannot pass to that area nayway because there was a blockcade for those who want the thrill and fun of just being there unknowingly of the true facts behind the "rally." The people in Edsa is not the whole majority of Filipinos if you'll ask me. Hay naku nasan na ba si ET? He he he.

Otherwise, it was just made for television shows or network around the world. What is being broadcast on TV is different from what is actually happening in that area. SEEING is BELIEVING! You really have to be there! You know what I mean instead of drawing conclusion.

The power of drwaing crowd is an act of PERSUASION a hidden agenda which is known to have cause others to lose their job and the blame game happened time and time again. So what happened after that is the military camp is owned not by Filipinos but by other countries. So what is left for the Philippines? How big or small the country now after it's been sold? Really? Where's the money and the document of sale?

What's Happening?

The contestants of the Amazing Race:UF went to alpine resort somewhere in Switzerland. The continuation of the Amazing Race: episode 10. In this leg of the race they have to perform task such as: Search and Rescue Operation.

First they have to choose which task they have to do whether Search or Rescue.

In the Search partners: Zev & Justin were the first to depart riding a helicopter on top of the mountain where they have to use gadget to find the body (dummy) buried beneath the pile of snow. Probably 6 to 10 ft. underground. Gary & Mallory arrived and search for the dummy also.
It took them hours to rescue the dummy. Good it's only a dummy because when they lifted the dummy, the leg was cut off leaving the head, the torso, or from head to waist still buried under the snow. Same thing happened to the dummy that Zev and Justin rescued from the pile of snow.

In Rescue: Kisha & Jen, Vyxin and Kent then Globetrotters tried the rescue by hoisting the guy in beneath the "shelf" of ice probably 10 to 12 ft. underground. One of the partners should go down that "shelf" and pretend to rescue until they had the clue card for the next task or destination.

Second task: They were to take part in the making of Travelocity gnome moulded into chocolate. But first they have to paint the plastic moulder with food coloring and part choco then they have to cool it dry inside the fridge. How they do it? With all the bickering is not as much bad as what is happening in the Hell's Kitchen. Once the moulded gnome paint is ready they poured in chocolate in liquid condition inside. Then they have it cooled outside on the snow and wait for sometime. The finished product was then inspected and off they go for the next move while they carry the gnome to the pit stop.

Next task is by foot. Everyone walked down the snowy route to get through the Pit Stop where Phil Keoughan is waiting together with the "sherpa and the dog." The first team to arrive is the Globetrotters: Big easy and Flight Time. Won a trip to Cook island sponsored by Travelocity. Kisha & Jen, Kent & Vyxin arrived next but given penalty for not complying to the rule. They ride the taxi instead of walking to the pit stop. Gary & Mallory arrived after them. Last to arrive were Zev and Justin but because the Goths had 30 minute penalty and were then eliminated on this leg of the race saving Zev and Justin to go on for the next leg of the race > to Brazil.

7. Watched the episode of the NCIS where Cote de Pablo even if she is asleep she can catch a speeding ballpen thrown by Michael Weatherly. While another new guest (coast guard) tried to over shadowed McGee in its episode last night seemed to portray the roles of women who are faster and sharp when it comes to protecting themselves in and out of work.

I wonder

I used to read this guy's article in the newspaper simply because some of his stories are thought provoking and somewhat rather controversial. One of his articles lately is written with a hook not that tender but quite makes you think twice about the country.

Anyway, how long for an eye specialist, optometrist to have an eyeglasses made for a certain customer? Will it take months, weeks or days? Will it take two hours to fit a certain frame or lens just for one customer?

In the Philippines, my Mother, my sister and I had our eye check up, eye glasses and frames and lens fixed in just barely two hours. Three of us had our eyeglasses on as soon as we leave the eye specialist's office. One pair of eyeglasses is worth P1,000. And you can choose your brand name design or make for those frames. You can have Ray-ban, Oakley or Remington. Whatever brand you want but the service is simply good and well deserving. They don't cheat you with the time and service and most of all they are not corrupt. They wont let you pay for waiting for so many days because they are good at their chosen career. They have the right equipment, they wont let you wait for weeks because they have the frames, the lenses and correcting lenses and knowledgeable people who work to keep your eyesight better.

Here I don't know where they have to get the lenses? And the frames? They have to wait hours and days. It's all BS! Then when it's payment time? It's like you've been hold-up and kidnapped! It's like paying for a trip to the Bahamas without ticket to get back home. Tsk! Tsk and you wonder are they really optometrist or a clan of Patty Hearst?

Truth be told.
