WHY OH WHY?

 WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER with all the correspondents, journalists, politicians, security, Secret Service & the POTUS and his wife, the VP JV Vance, K.Leavitt and other Cabinet Members were there. 

The US National Anthem was played and sang by the band and by everybody in the room. The Flag Bearers were out of the room, then the President of  the WH Correspondents from CBS W. Jiang had a meaningful speech, very clear and smart. Then everybody was enjoying their dinner. Nothing's happening.  I switched channels because its getting boring. After browsing other channels then back to CNN. I wonder why the diners are on the floor, ducking for cover. What the hell?! Turned out there was a commotion. A loud sound was heard, they thought was gunfire outside of the ballroom. 

CNN Kaitlan Collins was talking to the news station at CNN HQ of what had happened. The gunman was caught and in custody now. They showed the Secret Service was over protective of Pres. Trump and his wife and Cabinet officers who were under the table taking for cover. Later on Wolf Blitzer talked to the CNN News Anchors sending messages of what had happened and what he eye-witnessed.

The Correspondents, the journalists stayed inside the room. Do they have to rush out? That's their job? They are NEWS journalists, they are news reporters it is their job to cover any NEWS wherever they are. Some of them covered the worst of all news in war torn countries. That's nothing to what they have seen and experienced. They are professionals and they should be respected for the job they are doing!

Darn! I was waiting for the "Piggy speech." I was waiting for the many speeches those journalists have to say in public. I was waiting for the award to be given to Kaitlan Collins and other brave & remarkable journalists who deserve the awards. Why this chaotic event happened? The SPOTLIGHT should be for the courageous, brave JOURNALISTS! who deserve the honor in covering all kinds of NEWS!!
