The population of Canada is about 41.6 MILLION, that alone help with the buying and selling of goods and services. Sustainability is reached fairly in every province within Canada. Just the millions of inhabitants alone can be the consumers, the buyers and sellers. However, because some companies and manufacturers had manufactured an overtly over supply of goods and that's why they have to trade with other countries. Other countries do the same thing if their supply is overflowing. Other countries would like to trade their goods in exchange for goods that they don't have.
Long time ago the trade & commerce is through BARTER. No cash involved. Barter is fair exchange of goods in the same amount and weight. The value changed only if the seller sells the product to a price that is favorable based on its quality and purpose. Example: A kilo of sugar in exchange for a kilo of wheat. A gallon of oil for a gallon of alcohol (just a sample of barter!). That's only for goods. However for service? Would somebody work for food? Salary or wage paid in the form of clothing, food or vehicle? That's the problem.
At present the critic wants the over supply of aluminum, steel and automobiles, and forest products to be sold in America. Truth is Canada's aluminum and steel favored by Americans but because of Trump he doesn't care about Canadian products. The only American president who disliked fair trade with Canada. Or maybe because of the villainous Lutnick.
What the government under PM Carney is doing?
What you can do with aluminum and steel? OMG! Don't we have several infrastructures in Canada using steel and aluminum? Buildings, houses, condominiums and bridges need those aluminum and steel. (Latest: The construction of speed-railways & bullet train from Quebec to Ontario). Hey, we need bullet train too in BC. Automobiles? How many are too much? STOP the robots in making cars that nobody can afford.(That's why they ordered EV from China, in return China ordered canola products and seafoods from Canada). Forest products? How many houses, condos, apartments you have to build when nobody can afford? Some people are happy living on tents. THE PROBLEM IS TO STOP OVERFLOW OF SUPPLY. Then you don't have problem trading with USA or other countries. Manufacture or make products ONLY IF THERE IS AN ORDER OR GREAT DEMAND. And you think about employment? Find other work. Be happy with just your lowly work that pays decent. You don't have to be rich without conscience and soul.
The boom of high technology had shutdown pulp and paper mills. There, who you have to be blamed? THE ONE PERCENT > BILLIONAIRES! They are the ones who are the leaders who are continuously the irritants that changed the whole world. They are powerful and influential in the monopoly game when it comes to supply and demand and pricing of all goods that's why we have great inflation, great unemployment and collapsed of the economy in third world countries. Then they said they help in charitable institutions wherein they are benefited. WEIRD. SO STRANGE. Its ok think of the ONE PERCENT AS DAYBREAKERS!! They are building their own bunkers to hide.
