CONNECTIONS

 

When I watched him at the GRAMMY Awards  Night ... I saw a big star! A very talented young man. I told myself he will win the award.

I was wrong. It was Olivia Dean who won. Darn! Olivia she's good too as when she perform her song in Saturday Night Live. I never been wrong. I was not wrong when I first saw Lady Gaga perform and told myself that girl who sang Poker Face by the pool with the dogs in a video will be a huge star and look at her now. I was not wrong with Miley Cyrus and the many stars who made it big in showbiz. 

But with SOMBR he is like the next Mick Jagger. 

Then some critic said he is a nepo baby. Huh!? Really? That's so strange! Stranger Things! So what? That's what it is? That's why he didn't win the Grammy? How about Miley Cyrus? She's a nepo that's why she seldom wins? Why Lady Gaga won all the time? Why Taylor Swift won all the time? That's too much connection!! Why P!nk seldom wins despite of being very talented and hit songs after hit songs? 

By the way GRAMMY Committee seems a Black Organization I think so first priority are Black talents.

Connection. Connection is what we all need to find work otherwise you wont get a job. In the Philippines, if you don't have connection or reference you wont or can't find work. In search for a place to live in Canada you wont get one if you don't have connection or reference. 

CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS: Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Olivia Dean, William Pharrell, Jelly Roll (OMG! He lose weight!) etc.
