Is Canada & USA their own country now? They should show some neutralism. I don't know when wars will end there are so much misinformation happenings and who you think are lying? Propagation of lies are common during and at times of war. But students doing more havoc, trashing their universities and breaking the office of the University President is already a ground for dismissal. THAT'S criminal offense. It has nothing to do with the war. Assault, violent outburst is considered grounds to kick out those unruly students out of their university. Parents do not let your students get political.

LEARN THE LAW OF THE LAND. You could be liable as TERRORISTS!! Terrorists are not dumb, actually they are highly intelligent villains hiding in a secret faction able to disguise themselves create great chaos in their own land and escape whenever they can to other countries without a trace. Sounds like a TOM CLANCY TV series eh?

 It's good to know that there are ONE MILLION FILIPINOS in Canada and there are 175,000 Filipino population in BC. Wow! That's a lot!

What a humongous population of the same heritage, culture, tradition and one religious belief can do for a new country they decided to reside, live harmoniously and peacefully for as long as they shall live? Actually too many to mention... 

Remember as always "ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country."

 A Filipino Cultural Center will be the future endeavor to be built and created in Vancouver.

A Cultural Center that will showcase Filipino talents and skills in the Arts & Entertainment. Maybe they will feature the ingenuity of famous painters, sculptors, woodcarvers, graphic artists, cartoonists, 3D Animators, maybe they will feature events such as Gala,  Zarzuela, Passion Plays, Vaudeville, etc.

Aside from  several business(es) some Filipinos had been in recognition: restaurants, fast-food, coffee shops, bakeries, salons-beauty parlors, home for the aged, variety-specialty stores, flower shops, jewelry stores, daycare, etc.

Filipinos are usually business-minded. They are good in what they are doing with the sense of purpose helping others to thrive.

Anyway, what else is there to showcase?

Tomorrow in Vancouver, BC the unveiling of LAPU LAPU DAY to be recognized and honored in Canada. How this happened?

Are They Very Greedy?

 Looks like no matter how majority of the population feel about burgeoning humongous problem about the cost of housing and the high cost of basic commodities there will never be a great solution. Looks like some people are getting more greedy and price hike of anything will always be the conflict and a crisis.

People complaining about the price of gas from 1.75 /liter in Ontario and Alberta? In BC the price of gas is already 2.00/liter. 

You know how the price of houses will go down?

Remember when all the pulp mills, saw mills and mining companies shutdown and closed those major companies in certain cities in BC? 

GHOST TOWN SCENARIO had all the prices of houses DOWN because most of them were foreclosures by the bank. People moving out and trying to settle in different parts of the province or out of the province in search for greener pasture.

In other countries, WAR is the ultimate resort. No houses to rent or pay mortgages.  The inevitable of living on tents or shanties or people living off the grid. Homelessness? Too many humans are actually homeless!!!

You don't want to wait for such thing of a grave situation to happen. 

Well to think that CANADA is becoming the best destination for new immigrants with money then that's a good thing. YOU ONLY GET TO KNOW THE PEOPLE, THE COUNTRY ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. IN PERSON. You must know the country, the people based on your day to day experience with daily situations. Nobody knows for sure until you yourself experience it.

On being GREEDY? There are THE ONLY FEW GOOD MEN and you can have them posted on the walls as murals in your community. Ha ha ha!

The Government Should Work For The Greater Good

 Of course you like politicians who worked for the greater good. Politicians are likeable creatures if they support, help the most vulnerable, the working masses, the low income people and those who are struggling from the high cost of living. 

What you don't like about politicians are the corrupt, greedy and careless without remorse for the survival of struggling people. 

There are millions of struggling Canadians, not because they are out of work but no matter how hardworking they are, inflation and the cost of food and housing(mortgages & rent) are over the roof. 

In the truest sense nobody's happy. People are getting sick not because they are unhealthy but they are so stressed and pressured so much already. This is not how everybody, every family has to endure in a so called "well developed country."

People living on fixed income. What to do about it? Seniors who are living on fixed income, low OAS and low pensions and old age comes with old age ailments that need extra care. Small pensions and OA$ only pays for medications. What's for housing? What's for food? NOTHING. 

According to Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poillievre that there are 2 MILLIONS recipients of Food Bank. Wow! Really? In Canada? In a well developed country, a highly industrialized, agricultural country Canada... hard to believe but it's true that only few people can afford. 

Knowing the cost of housing had actually doubled. I know that for sure. We once rented a newly built 3 bedroom rancher house with 2 1/2 bathrooms with garage, manicured lawns and underground sprinkler for only $1,500/month in year 2012 and that type of house at present time is now $3,500/month. That house was sold for $450,000 then  in today's price, that house is now worth $ 1.2 MILLION DOLLARS. Supposedly, when houses get older the price should be depreciated or lowered but when it goes up? Hmm, that's total BS! Gluttony or just plain fooling around the most vulnerable.

Why the staggering high cost of living in Canada? It's because the population is growing. It is growing because of the high influx of new immigrants. A certain country needs new immigrants to augment the low population because the old stock Canadians are growing old. However, when it comes to growth, there are certain limits to what a country can afford, offer or it must have all the resources it need to support the burgeoning problems.

Justice For the Victims of Injustices & Malpractice

 Finally, finally... Max Thieriot famous for  SEAL TEAM television series and movie PACIFIER had made it to counter-attack being framed again and again in his new TV series FIRE COUNTRY in his portrayal of Bodie Donovan. 

In previous episodes, he was that vulnerable guy always the victim of injustice that led him in and out of prison. Always their sacrificial lamb. I'm glad the latest episode he conquered, he successfully been victorious.

I almost gave up to watch FIRE COUNTRY because the scriptwriter whoever he or she is always making fun of how Bodie gets bullied by framing him so many times of the wrongdoings of other people. There is no such story of a human being implicated for so many injustices in this world but because so many of those people were untrustworthy rather not doing their own work, not intelligent enough, and because they don't care. 

You don't want being a part of society wherein you just let people being victims of injustice, racism, bullying or whatever is there they are lying about. In war and during the war, so many lies are happening. Misinformation part of such war. You don't know who are lying and telling the truth. You don't just stand there and be a witness to some a-holes murdering humans by hundreds, thousands to millions  through genocide. Sometimes you thought one group is aggressive but you don't know how many people died from the other side. However,  what happened in Israel-Hamas war is something we have to be aware as humans. The conflict between Israel and Palestine is an ancient historical account, it's more about faith, ancient religious belief  and if Israel gave up its like you gave up the very foundation of  the Jewish culture, heritage and what they believe in. Lucifer would be very happy if the Israelites been defeated. We wont let it happen that's for sure.

What if your robot is  exact duplicate of you? Yeah, that's what happened in this movie. Charles is a realtor who works for his wealthy dad. He lives in sub-urban neighborhood and owned a robot who is identical to him as if they are twins except that his robot C2 is subservient, very obedient robot to Charles who will do anything for Charles and even go to work for him and date women as what Charles instructed him to do. While Elaine is a gold digger who uses her duplicate robot E2 to date all the men she wants in exchange for expensive and luxurious handbags, jewelries and garments. 

C2 & E2 are highly intelligent robots.

For whatever miracle that is or the impossible happened C2 and E2 fell in love. Yeah that's the surprise! And I don't want to divulge what really happened. 

You've got to watch it and enjoy the moment.

Shailene Woodley of DIVERGENT is now a comedienne after being an action star!

ROLE PLAY. Who would have thought that Kaley Cuoco would accept this kind of role. Being a comedienne Penny at popular television show BIG BANG THEORY. Kaley Cuoco as Emma is a cold blooded killer!? Emma is an assassin.

Emma and Dave are a couple who wants to spice up their love life and decided to have role play in a hotel while next of kin babysits their two kids at home. However someone messed up their role play moments. Emma must do something about it. Life goes on until the couple's video cam footage at the hotel bar  was shown on television news talking with that stranger who died at the hotel.Dave panic for a while. 

Dave (David Oyelowo)  knew that his wife works everywhere, abroad and always comes back home for their family. Then one day, the Federal Agents arrived at their home and interrogated Dave. Anyway, Dave forgave his wife because he knew that his wife loves him and the kids but then secret organization that Emma was affiliated with wants Dave out. Emma was ordered by her female boss to kill her husband and get rid of his body.

 Probably you are waiting for me to post the summary of RIVER GOD the novel of Wilbur Smith. Know what? I was about to post it but something out of the extraordinary forbid me to do that. I'm already finished reading the whole book from the very beginning to end. Page 1 to 528. I had written 28 pages of its summary. 

Then the very last part with the "Author's Note"

RIVER GOD, the story of the slave Taita is a true story. What an incredible man Taita. Who is exactly Taita in our World History? Because I had read the previous books, he was actually one of the Magus. Tatlong Haring Mago? Wow! There are 3 WISEMEN known in Bible History. Is it Melchor, Gaspar or Balthazar? Who is Tanus and who is Queen Lostris in Egyptian History? Who is the real Pharaoh Mamose? The names of characters were changed by author Wilbur Smith. River God and the story of Taita is based from Egyptian Historical facts. 

RIVER GOD the novel is a masterpiece full of secrets and mysteries. I hate to divulge the secrets. You the reader could read and decipher them for your own perusal. 

I will start to begin reading the next book which is THE SEVENTH SCROLL.

Competitive World In Education & The Workplace

 You heard of those people mostly Filipinos wonder why other Filipinos who are here already in Canada had advised you not to come here in Canada. Well dudes, you know the real truth? 

It is not about selfish acts nor being insecure. It is just a good advice not for you and your family to suffer racism, unemployment, the high cost of living will tend you to work on 3 jobs if you are healthy and able. You will become disabled for having to work hard to meet the needs and wants you desire to be at the height of your ambition. Seems like the kind of hard work you are fond of living in Philippines, right? Just the same in a different climate condition and other known high pressures. At least here, you can own a vehicle. Everyone can own a car because it is a necessity while in Philippines whether you are well to do, owning a vehicle is not a necessity because of the presence of all kinds of transportation. You get out of your home and you can call a tricycle driver to drive you to the market or passenger jeep just nearby. Bus is available almost everywhere you go. The problem in Philippines is the traffic congestion. A drive to the school or university can take only 30 minutes if there is no traffic. But in populated areas such as in Manila & Makati, that 30 minute drive can take 1 hour to at least 2 hours at rush hour. The worst thing that happened, you can be stranded in your seat inside the bus for more than 2 hours. You can use the LRT but with so many people lining up to get their way it's more like a battle. Yeah, sweat it out!

Yeah, the Health Care is free here in Canada! Pharma Care? You are eligible for free Pharma care if your meds more than $950 for a year. Deductible. Health Care free also in Philippines if you have the right card. 

Not because you are hard at work you are free from paying income tax in Canada. You pay more taxes here in Canada than in Philippines. You have 3 jobs? Not worth it. More taxes to pay. You don't pay tax on goods and services in Philippines. You can haggle or bargain certain designated places: market, business stalls, in textile and accessory stores in Divisoria & Baclaran. Haggling is really superbly important in buying and selling. Yan type ko sa Philippines yung "tawaran." lol

Education here in Canada is much better here in Canada? Hmm, not that I know of. But I think the teachers and professors here are easy to get along with. There is that "equal opportunity." 

The University professors in Philippines are mostly "bookies." They memorized their textbooks for lesson plan and they want the students to do the same.

Our Philippine University esp. University of Santo Tomas built by the Spanish friars was the oldest, ancient, meaning Philippines way ahead when it comes to education and civilization. Wonder why Dr. Rizal studied in Europe instead eh? Spanish friars were hardened by the orthodox kind of doctrines imposed in them through the inquisition.  FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY is the best co-ed for International students and in Philippines, Filipinos not far behind in its usage of the English Language. Filipinos are bilingual and knew some other dialects too. I don't really know why some Filipinos would rather educate themselves in Canada when we have too many prestigious Universities in Philippines. I know why. EDUCATION IN PHILIPPINES IS MUCH STRICTER and OLD SCHOOL. Truth is education in Philippines is highly structural and you must be very smart. We believe in the ROTE SYSTEM. Mostly memorization. If you can memorize the textbooks the better you can be in the most competitive way. Lots of competition. Education in Philippines is like an Olympic sport. There is no way that you can work while you study. It's hard and it is not advisable.

For those who can study and work here while enrolled in University YOU MUST BE VERY SMART. Then for Filipinos to have chosen educating themselves here in Canada... those Filipinos from Philippines must be "richer than you are." Maybe they are kids from wealthy millionaire families and other motives behind that is I don't know for sure as giving them benefit of the doubt. I know they have reasons or they were promised or lied about of the real truth.

If they really like to study here in Canada who we have to deny them of their ambition. It's their lives at stake. That's their goal and if they are using their own money, not your money why not? If they become your hindrance, competition for work and from your own goal and vision of the future... then that's probably the problem. The point is, Filipino competitors would be your fellow Filipinos. The White Canadians or the people who were born here in Canada have nothing to fear but the unknowns.What are the unknowns?

That's what it is with ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and wonder why Elon Musk is afraid of AI. You don't want AI manipulating space flight and rockets firing esp. with S.A.M. in its trajectory.

My daughter informed me that she already watched that FIRE COUNTRY Episode: All The Unknowns. LOL. Oh no! It was a replay. It's ok, don't really like the theme of this tv series starring Max Thieriot (SEAL TEAM star) who was imprisoned because of the wrong accusation about him and his true character. His lazy lawyer didn't really worked for him much. It is not his fault if his passenger on his vehicle wants to get out while their vehicle is at the highway and his sister wants out.  Pity on Bodie for being always the accused. Something wrong with the story in this series. Later on he was accused again and again and back to prison. So weird already. Their intelligence is out of whack. Then the girlfriend who is such a sl---! Is there anybody smart and more beautiful to be Bodie's new girlfriend in that series? 

Another UNKNOWN? Liam Neeson in this movie Unknown is another suspense mystery especially if somebody had amnesia and the only one who believes him is a female taxi driver, a stranger who happens to be a runaway.

Another unknown is the movie THE NET starring Sandra Bullock. What if...yeah WHAT IF that situation happened to you? It could happen to you if you don't have friends at work! If you are living a recluse life or everybody in your circle of friends are having dementia, amnesia and alzheimer's. Or the worst if all the living were victims of body snatchers and aliens.

 If its not housing crisis... then it is all about food. Canadians are buying cheaper frozen foods instead of buying fresh foods. Why not? Aren't we all insensitive to high inflation and high cost of living?

For God sake! How many times this subject being tackled in all the news networks for how many years now? For about ten years on and on, non-stop, very redundant. It seems like all the people here have alzheimers and dementia.

Nobody can afford anymore. The news of wage increase is not really the solution because it will only increase the price of commodities. It is a lost cause.

The government issued a solution: billions of dollars for funding school food program. Good idea! Let those parents volunteers for the schools where their kids are students of such institutions. Volunteer to be cooks and kitchen crews for the cafeteria. Now they are thinking they don't have a cafeteria. lol

Recently, a farm somewhere in Canada provided free ugly potatoes for those who want it and you wont believe how many people avail of such freebies. Long line up to get bags of potatoes.  Those farmers should be praised for good deeds. Not all of those potatoes are ugly. A bag of potatoes in year 2000 valued at $2. In the year 2010, a bag of potatoes worth $4, and now a bag of potatoes worth $10 for 20 lbs. Getting a bag of potatoes for free? That's a miracle.

When did you noticed that everything has gone up high except our height? Do you remember?

Year 2019, 2020 when it started to feel something is very wrong in our world. Millionaires and billionaires don't really feel it (really?) but because their minds thinking about "bunkers." Why? They are afraid of the unknowns. The unknowns that we don't know about. ???  Then the pandemic + the war between Ukraine & Russia. The Israel-Hamas War. Are they the beginning of the "armaggedon?" 

FOR GOD SAKE WHO KNOWS?

There are many wars that other countries are not affected when it comes to economy but when Russia and Ukraine got into war the price of gas and oil and other basic commodities heightened stratospheric high. Is that conspiracy theory?

Tundra is not really good for anything except that it becomes a "barren" just a place for lamentation and isolation. Nobody lives in tundra regions of the earth. It is the 'alien territory" as if you are in another planet. Well, better than Mars & Jupiter for sure.
