So Mr. Mark Zuckerberg is richer than you think. You know I know he is the new Fortune mag poster boy now he also is the TIME person of the Year (2010). Why not? You are visible to the whole world because of his gift, a company that he founded and still manage up to now.
Nobody contest to the decision of the National Board of Review garnering 5 awesome awards: Best Picture: The Social Network. Best Director: David Fincher. Best Adapted Screenplay: Aaron Sorkin. Best Actor : Jesse Eisenberg. Best Sights and Sound: The Social Network
OF all the movies that were chosen to represent or the nominated movies only "The Social Network" made the difference. It is unique. The story is not redundant. Movie that you and I haven't seen yet in the past. I mean some of the entries are somewhat the same from previous movies in the past. In this movie of MZ is a NEWly brought up topic for the entire world to see on what a network is all about. What's behind the new technology. The good and bad side of friendship and corporate jungle, the evil that lurks, the unknown and ambiguity of human species. The technology that controls most of us here in the 21st Century. The controversial issues and the manifestation of good vs. evil syndrome. What friendship is to you and what is real family to your own mind thinking. Are we all different or we alike that deep within our realms we are all subservient to the network? Yeah better be if he can have all of us all employed. 500 million friends that's the total population of the Philippines + Canada + HK + Alaska + ?
That's the billion dollar question. Who's got millions? BILLions? That's an amazing amount of money. I don't know how the accountants can figure that out in their ledger. Even the calculator doesn't have enough digit space to fit the whole numbers.
Anyway congratulations to the WINNERS! I think the world needs NEW MOVIES like the "social network." We need something NEW or else moviegoers wont be patronizing old revived redundant movies.
