The Evil Amongst Writers

Wow! I couldn't believe that one of the most popular novelists also received negativity with his writings, couldn't believe it really. So what could it be a sign or warning for the neophytes? For the amateurs it will always be "try, try, try again until you succeed." Okay, no problem. It's all try. It's all pink. Later on what was written by lousy writers, what was written by clutch writers will be copied by veteran writers and that's the greatest victory ever. Veteran writers copying from amateur writers!! Whew! Shocking eh?

Once there was a literary agent who is such popular through the net. With her almost perfect lines of pitch was able to lure so many would - be writers and these writers sent their manuscripts to her. The sending and receiving process happened for more than a year then after those period of times the literary agent announced to her subordinates, fellow writers who wanted their manuscript read and publish as books that she no longer worked for that literary agency. What happened to those manuscripts the writers sent to her for review? Is it gone? Gone, gone? She didn't explain further she just quit that agency and moved on. She's still getting reviews and still giving advice to her many followers. Oh my, seems fishy actually.

Literary agents are so good to be true. They can write really well. Their sales pitch are almost perfect. But they should also writer novels and from there we'll find out if her perfect pitch really matter if they are so good when it comes to story-telling. Hopefully it's not novels from those would- be writers.

I think have read so many news about such thing when writers, unknown writers will sue another popular writer because of "copying incident." Copying somebody's work is the worse kind of evil. Don't they have a mind of their own? It's okay to copy somebody else work provided they paid those manuscripts first hand. Pay don't steal. As simple as that. Writers don't get much recognition nor they are paid much but to steal their work? That's too much of a burden for evil like you, right?

Showbiz and Politics

I can't understand why majority of the Filipinos hate Nancy Binay. The most surprising is > can Binay see and hear what is being told in the news, press releases and all those written articles, tabloid news and facebook gossip about her? I wonder. Those negative feed back and remarks about her almost enough for someone to back out from politics and probably enough for her to faint in dismay. It takes great strength for her to be able to stay prim and proper from all those false allegations about her. What's wrong with the people in Philippines? Is the debate the only way to be popular and of good use to the senate? Ah I know Filipinos love the debate kasi they have something to talk about. Pintasero kasi ang mga Pinoys eh. Uso lang yun. They need something for entertainment. Kung si Kris A. nga type nilang pagpiyestahan. Alam mo na mahilig sila sa chismis. Without chismis patay ang showbiz politics nila.

The Bills of Rights are WRITTEN in America. The most genius of lawmakers in the United States of America were not vocal or verbal. Action speaks louder than words. They used their knowledge with the use of their pens. You may not believe that presidents don't necessarily be smart ass as long as they are great speaker. Yung magaling magsalita. Somebody who can talk. Requirement talaga magaling sa debate not necessarily magaling sa lahat ng bagay. All they need are educated lawyers and prolific writers beside them (the presidents who will sit at the seat of power) pang-puesto lang for public viewing. Who will make laws? You know who. Do you have to know? To make laws for them so that the presidents can signed them and speech writers for the presidents to speak in forum, in front of the public for speaking engagement. Most of all president need a great economist for the policy making effort to stabilize the country. Good economy means the country is in good standing. When the country is economically stable there is progress and development. That's in America. NOON!

What about in Philippines? Same effort, same practical reason to improve standard of living for all.

Back to Nancy again.

When it comes to Mrs. Nancy Binay, for God sake people of the Philippines, did you have a visit at the WIKIPEDIA and find out her accomplishments? She is a graduate of University of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science in ECONOMICS. Aba, graduate din naman ako ng ECONOMICS. Sa tutuo lang walang bobo sa mga graduate ng Economics. It's a difficult subject. It's a complicated course of study. Hindi sya basta-basta lang na subject, oy mag-isip isip naman kayo dyan. Don't insult her. Malay mo magaling pala sya sa debate pero sa tunay na Senate. Sa loob na ng Senado. Tatay nya ay Vice-President matalino naman siguro si VP BInay at doctor ang Mother nya. Wala naman sigurong bobo na doctor. So nasa lahi ang galing nila. No. Not sip-sip here just saying saka na kayo manghusga pag nasa loob na ng Senate sya. Cool! peace! Para walang away. Para walang giyera. Para walang doomsday.

Just a spin-off para may pagchismissan. Say cheese. Too many monkeys!But McDuffy's not a monkey. Look at how he walks. Ala, eh para syang mascot na panda. O di ba? Just kidding. Kasi yung kuha sa kanya sa TV news ganun lagi ang walk nya on and on from the building out to his car and observe how he walks... I think I know what's happening. Alam mo kasi noon nahospital si Mr. Duffy. Overweight sya noon, at least now nabawasan ang timbang nya. Let's pray na sana he wont have a heart attack from all the bad news about him. He was the one being the target of negative news then suddenly the news bolted on Mr. Nigel Wright. Weird talaga ang news d2. Parang conspiracy theory. Sige add more mysteries so that I can have them for a novel. It wont be INFERNO of Dan Brown but PURGATORY a Novel By E. Verna! Purgatory is such a unique title I think for such enduring saga of McDuff. Dark comedy. Please Stephenie Meyer this novel PURGATORY is mine so back off!

What's the best revelation in that show? They have "imports." Psy and his group were the special guest + Jessie J. 's surprise role visit to the show, with Adam Lambert and Angela Miller the new Lady Gaga singing together. J-Lo with Pit Bull dancing and singing to a new sound. Looks like J-Lo wants her seat back.

Canada should have Canadian Idol instead. But too late. The stage is being used by "So Do You THink You Can Dance." Same dancers different names.

Mr. Mike Duffy is being "grilled" for that $90,000 paid by PM's Chief of Staff for what ? I first thought Mike Duffy was a journalist for a certain news network. Only now that I know he is a Senator? What? Weird news goin' on. I hate watching television news.

News that Miss Christy Clark lost her seat in her riding to somebody who   we never heard that the guy is running for office. Shocking politics. Totally incredible! They all should join "The Office."

In Philippines: The Press were focus on its scrutinizing the new senator Nancy Binay for not joining the debate before the election. Then a no-show during the proclamation of Senators together with other winners. Nancy Binay's hands and names been proclaimed winner during the family's public forum. The VP Jejomar Binay, his son the mayor, the daughter who also won the election and another member of the family as a winner were already been seen on TV, their names proclaimed as winner in front of lawyers, but the oath taking? It shouldn't be a group oath-taking eh? Whatever! I found the process very controversial and showbiz-like in its presentation. Troublesome.

People. People. Hindi na kayo nadala sa mga naiboto nyo. Bumoto ba kayo?Mathematics. Total population of the Philippines is close to 98 Million +. Count the votes for Senate representatives. Compute the population of legal voters. Is there a discrepancy? What's the margin of error?

I'd like to think that those NUMB3RS are the representatives' income tax payment to the government. Ha ha ha! J/K

Troublesome when it's already the 17th of May and June is the rainy season and know what? June is the month when so many typhoons visit the island. If those people are slow to action there'll be flood again and many poor people will be affected with so many calamities. Are you to save the people and  prevent any disaster from happening or you just want  disaster to come in like as if its what you are waiting for? It's best to prepare no matter what because Mother Nature's fury is something we are not able to stop but to lessen or minimize devastation you have to be prepared when there's blackout, when there's flood, when there's not enough food, and all the basic necessity to keep you in better condition while inside the house. You know that this kind of typhoon season comes every year and hopefully you know what to do.

My opinion, not yours as I've SEEN them on TV. TV is a medium of the world upside down. What you broadcast on TV is what we see with own eyes, what we hear and listen. Wrong broadcasting result is wrong. When it's wrong it's X FACTOR!

AND the winner is Miss Christy Clark, the Premier of BC. British Columbians has voted for Miss Clark as the Premier of British Columbia, and more seats for the Liberal Party. Is she related to Ms. Adrianne Clark? More siopao to sell yehey. Ha ha ha! I was watching the counting of votes through those color-coded tabulation on the screen of our television. The counting or actual counting is not shown but sort of graphic color coded bar lines are seen. Yeah we are in the new generation of codes and most of the time it's the color that matters.

RED for Liberal Christy Clark Party. ORANGE for NDP Adrian Dix Party(National Democratic Party), GREEN for Green party of Environmentalist Elizabeth May with only one representative in the Parliament, and other Independent Parties. I can't see BLUE color. Blue color has been omitted? Tired of blue? The hosts and announcers on TV Networks wear purple and black and blue. Thank goodness.

Why no blues for BC? It's a clear message of defiance? I don't know. Canadians are secretive people. They are not that loud and they are not that easy to please when it comes to the voting procedure or election process is something they don't divulge for you can't buy their votes and their rights.

Just in time with the elections: Philippines and Canada ... the Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield had his moments of surrealism in his own way of conquering gravity. The man looks like had bouts with near-death experiences  before landing on earth. Amazing moment of space oddity while singing David Bowie's "Space Oddity." Better version? Priceless eh? It is. I am seeing an aura of Freddy Mercury. What the hell.

Chris Hadfield made astronomy and science so exciting again. What you are curious to ask as a child were then answered by him showing so many results of his experiments while on board the International Space Station. He looks sick and skinny. He lose so much weight. Poor man! That to control the weather, to study the Earth, to know what lies ahead and beyond planet earth, the whole space is such a very troubling mind boggling that you need EXTRA MIND of a BIG HEAD. In other words you need GOD in your life to be able to accomplish any great task, big or small task you will need extra help from super human machines, mission control, television networks, from the extent of your good family, good friends and Lord God almighty. Sometimes RELIGION played a part to determine how you will live on this planet earth. No ifs no buts.

THE VOICE let go of Vedo and Garrett Gardner. It's a different kind of game they are playing in that show. I don't like watching it. The good singers are eliminated. They are looking for perfect character? When they are imperfect? You're all bound to be disappointed then.

SERVing The Country: SERVITUDE is a SOLITUDE?

There are thousands to millions of happenings everywhere around the world but there are so many things that are untold and still are mysteries and so many events and stories that are untrue and being replayed. Well take it that there are so many people hoarding the news. Are you a hoarder?

Hoarding information is mostly common in the media. Hoarding not only information but things, or stuff no matter how small or big they are. For you should  withhold almost anything in this world. What is secret is secret but it really depends on your intuition. Not all things you should tell everyone because some of them don't really care. That what you are reading doesn't mean they are true it could be fabricated or just to provide news for the sake of breaking news or pitching in. Para lang may masabi. Uso yan sa showbiz. Wala lang masabi kaya nagpoproduce ng gimmick. Lalo na yung medyo laos na kailangan magpakita siya sa madlang people just to know the public that she or he is still available.

Isa lang and nakakapagtaka kasi sa mga showbiz people bakit kasi pag hindi na sila gaanong sikat why they have to run for politics? I don't like hurting their egos but should the public ask for representatives in their town, municipality, city and country that whoever should run in the senate or any public office should have knowledge in public service, law, political science, economics, education and many sectors of the government that need change, improvement and funding. I know showbiz people are the lifeblood of many aspiring public servants because they can use them to gather public support. Then in return it just showed why not they try politics when instead of being used by these politicians they should run instead at their own expense. Sure that's also a good idea. Popularity vote. But what they can do when they are seated in office? Politics is now show business eh. Can you extend help to the people by providing them drama or comedy? The public or the people would just put you in the pedestal at first but when you don't know how to run the country you'll end up like a rotten leafy veggies you know what I mean? Double scrutiny. You end up laos in showbiz and you'll end up laos in politics. It happened before. Yeah too many of them lose their once radiant shine.

Anyway politics is simply politics more controversy, more intrigues and more conflict. Quadruple conflict. Worst than showbiz. It takes a thick face to be able to survive in both category. Ay! Kapal! It's true I'm laughing at what I'm writing here but it's true that you should have a THICK face to be able to be there or join in the band wagon. Pakapalan daw at pakapalan ng wallet. It's always been the bigger asset, bigger PURSE that matters. However mauubos lang ang kayamanan mo pag ikaw ay mayaman dahil maraming lalapit at hihingi ng tulong hanggang sa mapiga ka na at lumubog sa utang. You wont be able to get out from that kumunoy you'll always want to be seated until you get your capital that you finance for the campaign. Impossible namang yung mga tao sa paligid mo ang gagastos sa pangangampanya. Think. Lagi kang taya. You'll feed the whole nation. Where will you get lots of money to feed the whole country? Where will you get money to provide employment? Your security? It is for these reasons that whoever should run for politics are already rich because it's impossible to get the wealth you used for the campaign. Running for public office doesn't mean you have to use the government's money. There is that accounting that manage to seek the control of spending. You are only allowed to use limited budget or funding for such tenure and employment. There is that secret auditing that controls the input and output of everything within the government. If you are already seated and in power to govern still is you cannot afford to let go. The government will not let you go until you are paid with the money you used while you are in office. This is the simplest explanation to whoever wants to serve the country. Let me remind you the word is SERVE. Why you must serve? Why you have to serve?

Graft and corruption? The only way to win and gain access to wealth? I don't know. I haven't try that yet. I was a witness to graft by grafting plants in Botany. What plants need grafting? Corruption? Ibaba mo ang kilay ko.
Bahala kayo sa buhay nyo after all king sino ang nagluklok sa kandidato syang unang magsisisi pag hindi sya nabigyan ng pabor. Ganun yun eh.

Political Dynasty

Dallas or Dynasty? It must have been some sort of television soap opera on what's truly happening during the pre-election , election campaign and at the time when all ballots are counted. Ballots? ! Hey they used new kind of tabulation, they used smartmatic right? Smartmatic-arithmetic. Darn! I should have been in Philippines to find that out. It's over! The votes are counted and hands and arms been raised. How lucky those candidates who won the election. They deserved the winnings. The heartfelt saga now is after the winnings, let them count their check book and bankbook account. To campaign around the country, going from different provinces in the Philippines you need bigger budget. You have to be rich to do that. How many in your team or group to move around, fly from one province to another, pay for those people who are in your team, the gasoline for the vehicles, the allowance such as for food, uniform, banners, slogans, pamphlets, mural and post advertisements all of these incurred a lot of expenses. So many papers, so many confettis-patis and you'll see them on the ground, on the road, everywhere, electric post, trees, walls, even on the walls of so many houses, on the walls of the buses, jeeps, tri-cycles, and t-shirts worn by people who are in favor of the candidate for election. Make sure you clean those dirt or it will plug the drainage and might cause flood. You know... Millions of money spent for this nationwide election. Wow! Hectic. Hectic schedule for so many of the candidates that if you didn't see them on the stage debate there is a reason and some reasons are valid if they are honest, rather truthful. What the debate for? Lots of talk? The people want the candidates to work not talk. WORK and SERVE the people. Talking is just plain talk. It's nothing when you cannot do anything. There are few people who can talk and work, only few from so many who can use both of these power. The power to be heard just by writing is another story.

On political dynasty? Cheaper by the dozen style! Why not? The Filipino way of politicking was such as originally been patterned how our ancestors had their way during their time before the Spaniards conquered  Philippines. The barangay was ruled by a certain datu, the oldest, strongest, richest man in their area. Richest man. One of the qualifications. One who has thousand acres of land. Haciendero. Then the Spaniards came and not only they conquered the land but subdivided the land for themselves for farming, mining, housing and land acquisition never stop. They also ruled the land, people, and the law, imposed so much taxes and what else change the names of the inhabitants of that land by baptizing each and every natives so that they can have Christian names. From being pagan, Muslims and Buddhists they all became Christians and must serve Spain. They changed the name of the island, the whole archipelago and name the island as La Islas Filipinas in Spanish. It's now called Philippines, derived and named after King Phillip of Spain.  If you don't believe me then you have to go on a research at the oldest university or library to find that out. Koreans the new inhabitants of Philippines wont believe it because they only after for gold. Thus PSY is making loud thunder with his "Gentlemen."

Know it all or Know-nothing, but history is being repeated. If you're not aware of what's happening and at present situation? You are a lost cause!

Political dynasty about the BINAY FAMILY? They all are FILIPINOS right? Why vote somebody you don't know? You have to VOTE people you know so that they will represent you and will make sure that the PHILIPPINES belong to the true Filipinos not to foreigners.
