THE GOLD RUSH?

BC PREMIER DAVID EBY is in Japan and checking on supermarket and groceries and discovered that Canadian products are being sold in Japanese supermarket. Good.

The Premier should also visit Philippines because so many Canadian products are being sold in local supermarkets in Manila, Philippines. such as McCains fries, Sun-Rype juice drinks and its products, Tim Horton's, wines and liquors made in Canada, milk products, cheese, hotdogs and sausages, snack foods, cooking oil, canned goods such as Campbell's, etc. etc.

While Philippine products are also in the local market here in Canada and can be found in Superstore: Ube pies, Tamarind soup base, Palabok sauce, Milkfish, Tilapia, Marca Pinia soy sauce, Pancit canton noodles, and a lot more to choose from.

I had just read a Japanese blogger who uses Philippine products for their cooking. Would you believe she uses "Patis?" for her everyday cooking? Patis is a fish ferrmented sauce made in Philippines. Thailanders also used Patis for their Thai pads noodles.

TRADE & COMMERCE from country to country happened when the population of people are consumers of those products. The preference of majority of people affect the economy of every country.

Sometimes, its the PEOPLE the population of people who control the buying and selling of goods. Without buyers, the products get stagnant. The wheel of Commerce depends on buyers and sellers. Look at what happened in the Middle East. It was just an oasis. Look at what happened to Dubai, Abu-Dhabi and UAE... it is not really about oil and gas. Its the influx of people who buy and sell who eat everyday. Well of course they have money working at the desert hub. Hongkong and Singapore wont be in the state  of modernization without those immigrants who are buyers, consumers and sellers. The economy is about buying and selling. Without those two important humans in a country, there is no movement. Nothing will happen and there is no progress.

Do you know how the West has won?  There was a story of wealthy Chinese Immigrants who came to America and they want to open up a business in ancient western rocky mountains. Nobody there except for those who are deserted. They opened up a small Chinese store in the middle of nowhere. Then suddenly a spark of a genius happened and the matriach, started spreading pieces of gold like Easter eggs being scattered and hidden where some people can find it and that started the hunt for gold. The great rush, rapid influx of humans from everywhere had flock the area and that was it...

THE GOLD RUSH.
