Not too many people watch movies in the cinema and watching TV is the "in thing." Why some people will watch movies in the cinema nowadays? Simply because they have no widescreen TV or because they want to be firsthand to watch it and yap the story to their next of kin and friends. Maybe they want to watch it with another fellow, with a close friend or supposedly it's a "date." How much is a movie fare now? Is it $15/ticket which is an hour wage of a worker? Then if the ticket is worth $15 the movie should be 3 hours long or the movie should boast extraordinary, spectacular extravaganza of everything you want to expect of a great movie that would need an award.
Nowadays, even younger generation clamor for the "shock value." They don't like watching movies or shows that they had seen before. Something new is what they are after. Brand new! Not rerun, not replays. You have to surprise them, perhaps shock them.
If there's a movie trailer that is shocking is the movie "Jordan Peele's US"
When it was screened on television and it was at night that shocked us. It was really creepy. I don't like looking at the TV screen because it was sensesurround. Our TV is so loud so the sound was terrifying. Then those faces...the actors played an incredible, believable worrisome facial expression of angst and very tensed acting that can give you the shock. Crazy! It was just a trailer and its frightening. That kind of movie will bring people who love horror movies to the cinema. I don't know if they can eat and nibble popcorn or sip their cup of pop.

15 Minutes Of Fame > GONE?
It was so shocking! TWD: Episode - The Calm Before. What the hell happened to an almost happy festival of four communities joined together to bring about change, folks gathered round to an open-air of musical and arts and of drama for everyone to celebrate after Henry, Daryl, Lydia and the deaf mute Connie arrived from having escaped the slay under Alpha's command. The first opening of the cinema in Kingdom's lair under Ezequiel's where everyone enjoyed a matinee of cartoons. It was such a happy, jolly scene of once lost normal, ordinary lives of people without thinking that they are in apocalyptic world. While the rest of the crowd watched the movie in the cinema, Carol, Daryl, Michonne and another woman with bow and arrow setforth to the darkest corner of the forest only to be cornered by zombies and the group of whisperers. They were captured by the group of Alpha and Beta and there's no other way to escape Alpha's wrath. However, for whatever reason Alpha changed her mind and talked to Daryl and showed the other side of the forest, downhill was millions of zombies. Apocalypse is not over yet. Alpha made a deal with Daryl and the other captured women were released. On the way to the Kingdom they saw Sidiq who was by himself in shock, who wont be? Nine people from Hilltop and Kingdom were beheaded and their decapitated heads stood on the nine poles were put on display above the hill as if its an Easter Island symbolism of head statues. What a brutal bloodbath and brutal slay by whom? Who killed or murdered those guys? Henry's dead, Enid dead and so as Tara. The new recruits were dead, including the old woman who babysat the newborn. All the teenagers were dead. Do you believe Sidiq's story? Or he is part of the slay? Sidiq is the reason why Carl Grimes was bit by zombie when he tried to help Sidiq from being bitten. Sacrificing one self to rescue another proved fatal, not worthy and unreasonable. It's called suicide!
I think the next episodes will be bloodier than ever. I know it's getting weirder and stranger than fiction.

Are You Into The Badlands?
At this point in time nothing's new. On TV there are something new being broadcasted however the same kind of theme as being revived. New TV shows and TV series. It's kind of weird that some old movies are revived as new television series such as: Highlanders, Lethal Weapons, Ransom, Royal Pains, Star Wars (Animated), and so many other non-popular movies made into tele-series.
To revive old movies into new ones, same story but new stars (younger actors) is almost disastrous such as the Mary Poppins.
What about talented singers doing the drama and comedy for TV Show, program or series? Not too many will do that but given the proper material or right story for that singer would always be a welcome on prime-time or regular night stint just to have something new for a change. Look at Jann Arden, a popular Canadian crooner, sometimes she's a comedian making people laugh on her style of popping out stories and jokes before and after she sung a song... now she's that talented actress showing her talent for acting in her new JANN television comedy series. It's a series because you can watch it once a week as continuous program of her story of an artist working in the rural community and she is paid "in a barter situation/condition that for every work there is a corresponding payment such as $15,000 worth of chocolates ? or two bulk barrel of cheese." It's not your typical roundabout show but it's funny. It's hilarious that something like that happens.
Well, did you know of TV host who is a millionaire by the amount of cars, vintage cars that he possessed turned out to be payment or salary for hosting a popular night show on TV? i wonder who.
Why are they not paid in terms of monetary currency or cash? Why in monetary value, paying a worker with unnecessary gifts that the worker wont need? Or because the sponsors can only pay in terms of gifts not cash because cash is ... in a cashless society?
The best thing that you can do if payment is in terms of gifts, better own a grocery, store or boutique. Whatever gifts are given as salary or wages, sell those items in your own store or boutique. OMG! Weird! Maybe that's what happened in old rural areas where old folks are mostly farmers. In urban community or in metropolis wonder what could be the wages? It should be cash and cheques! If its a cashless society then that's totally a BADLAND! You are into the BADLANDS!!!!!! Your money has no legal tender.

O, Brother Where Art Thou
Old movie of George Clooney > "O, Brother Where Art Thou?"
I happened to watch this very old movie last night on TV. It was a story of 3 ex-convicts who escaped from prison and end up in a radio station and managed to audition for which their old Mississipi tune had a place in the air. While their actual goal was to find the 1930's buried treasure their wild adventure met with a musician, outlaws and religious cult movement called the KKK or the Klu Klux Klans. It was a story of friendship, hardship, poverty, political mischief, graft and corruption and family disputes. At least the ending brought one of them to his family as he reunited with his wife and six children.
Is the political arena the same in our generation? There's no KKK in our time where the group hide their faces by using white conehead masks and using white long gowns with specific symbols and burning the cross edifices are part of their alliance and hatred to the race they think a hindrance to their cause. Nowadays, the racists and bigots are always identified because the social media is all out of producing two sides of the population whether they are racist or not. There are two sides and they are viewed equally through the medium and its high tech.
On TWD, the masks are somewhat strange of course because the humans wore zombie masks to blend in with the zombies.
However, there are humans who are using masks to disguise themselves in a musical contest.
Yeah, you think detectives, spies and people with burn marks are the only humans who cover their faces. There are many artists, movie stars, television stars who also covered their faces with make up and sometimes disguised themselves as a different actor/actress and they are called drag stars or trans. Other showbiz personalities disguised themselves as a different personality or a different person with a different name for what purpose (according to the roles given to them to portray on the silver screen) or cause they are into this kind of disguise is only them who know themselves and for what reason they are to cover themselves is beyond us. Maybe they are aliens or they want to cover the color of their skin and they hate their face. Maybe they are too old for the role/part in the movie and they have to have a younger, youthful face mask or vice versa.

The Meg
I rented a movie entitled THE MEG. Maybe you already watched it in the cinema. I never watch movie in the cinema anymore. Have you seen the movie house getting full or having an SRO crowd? Never. It's never the same as before. The convenience of watching movie is at your own home. So at home is where I used to watch TV (shows, series, documentary, animated shows, music video) and movies.
What's good in THE MEG? Is this the same kind of movie we used to watch before? Is this another Jaws movie or Sharknados? You'll find that out if you watch it at TELUS Optik movies for $1 only (for two days). The movie has something to do with scientists doing their research and exploration in the Pacific ocean. You know what's good and better in this movie compared to Jaws? The group of scientists has a modern submersible facility and modern equipment plus modern seapods or underwater vehicle the kind of vehicle that you only see on science fiction cartoons. It's now a high tech Jaws movie combined with the movie THE ABYSS. The menacing shark is a prehistoric 75 ft long monstrous creature only to be outgrown by another giant bigger than the one they were scared of. What's unbelievable in this story is their courage. Are you not afraid to get bitten? You will go on a suicide just to put a tag on that giant monstrous shark? Anyway, it's just a movie. Jason Statham as Jonas Taylor played the hero who saved the scientists who were trapped at the bottom of the ocean. Then he keeps on saving other scientist, one after another.
Real humans will put a tag on fossils. But you know some crazy humans used to put tags on newborn babies. Young babies. Animals in the wildlife are tagged one by one for its population body count and species mostly endangered species were put with tags and being tracked down if necessary. Look at James Bond had a tracker so that his own Mother can track him down. That's another movie.

All Cellphones Are BAN In Schools!?
Yey!? Really? You wished! What could be the impact? If its not the norm anymore. When the use of cellphones are harming the normal protocol in schools, college and university. If the use of cellphones is to harm the normal orderly classroom situation and condition, to harass the teacher and classmates, and to be used as a device for cheating (codigo) and spying.
Why not? Yeah, you can ban cellphones and the use of cellphones in schools everywhere around the world. Humans must learn to know that their IQ is based on their ability to use their own brain, their own mind in answering questions and the ability to use their skills without the use of any device unless if necessary ( refers to using calculator pert. to higher Mathematical equations).
From what I heard, cellphones are ban in schools in Ontario. I don't know when is the implementation of such ban. It would be very hard for those whose lives cannot live without cellphones esp. those addicted to modern devices and gadgets.
Did you know that cellphones and the use of cellphones are ban in hospitals? Why is it? It's because it harms the normal function of hospital machines and devices.
So, why are these cellphones not ban in the airplanes? You know that the use of cellphones can malfunction the normal flow of telecommunication within the airplane from pilot to the radio tower communication at the airport's base station. It triggers radio frequency to send signal to another source of power. Whatever! I think that's only in sci-fi movies. Just asking if there's truth to that kind of paranormal situation.

ADVANTAGES OF HAVING CELLPHONES:
For emergency. You can use it as a flashlight and compass, you can also use it as a calculator. It has games to keep you occupy while waiting. Phone numbers stored in your device are handy just in case you are lost or feeling some kind of phobia. Because it's lighter than digital camera, snapping pictures (photographs) is convenient. Basically cellphones are used for EMERGENCY. However you are not to use cellphone when driving.

You Are Silly Not To Have It
It's hard to believe news about fashion...the clothes, the garments are one of the top ten that fill up the dumpsite, the landfill and the cause of pollution?
Have you seen too many people without clothes and people barely can afford to buy clothes because they are expensive? Some of their clothes sometimes end up in hands down or in the thrift shop not letting go of those clothes even if they are with holes, torn or with stains. So why brand new products are thrown in the landfill?
The news of clothes being thrown in the garbage because nobody buys them even if those clothes were marked down? Absurd!Why they end up in the landfill is probably because those garments were to be shipped in another country and then the cargo ship got swept away by mighty winds, rough waves and hurricanes and the cargo bins were tossed and damaged through that natural disaster in the ocean. Garments rummaged by wildfire and those garments that were kept for shipping (for 3 months) without proper storage cooling system and without silica that keeps garments dry and prevent molds. Maybe that's the problem why tons upon tons of those garments of clothing and textiles were then thrown in the landfill. Molds in clothes can cause skin diseases and other health problems. Silica is also important in the preservation of leather garments and shoes. I hope you know the power of SILICA because they are also being used for embalming corpses and in taxidermy.
What should be done? Any dress, shirt, pants, shorts or skorts if it has a price tag of over $50 is not worth it. A party dress or party gown that is over $500 even if its made by a fashion designer is way over the top, greedy and cruel. Well, unless of course if that dress weighs over 20 lbs. and the fabric used to make that dress is enough for us to scream and if the length and width of the fabric is more than 6 meters and has thousands of beads and lovely appliques.

Whatever! Aren't We All Clueless?
Chokepoint the episode that brought you the battle between Beta and Daryl, Connie, Henry against whisperers while Lydia was locked inside the small room with the dog. While the rest of the casts of THE WALKING DEAD still being bothered by walkers or walking zombies. You know what's creepy in this episode? Carol is now called by Jerry as the "Highness" because she is "married" to King Ezequiel. For God sake! Please, don't let me stop watching TWD and look for FEAR THE WALKING DEAD instead.
By the way, Beta is gaining more weight in matters of having more fans. How could a villain have more fans? On the side of the villain, named Beta who is summoned by their leader Alpha (mother of Lydia) to search for her daughter. Alpha wants her daughter back. However, Connie (the mute) and Daryl wont let Lydia go because Henry is in love with that girl and they knew that Henry wont stop at nothing to rescue Lydia. What kind of romance is brewing this time? Don't you love the romance between Maggie and Glen before?
Okay forget about it. Let's visit the BIG BROTHER CANADA (Episode 2). Cory was chosen to have a great entrance at BBC after the contestants evicted Laura. The POV or Power of Veto was not use in the first episode. Damien could have the access but he didn't take it with him when he already got the chance. The theme of this Big Brother Canada show is about "Espionage." It would be a challenging task mentally, psychologically and emotionally. As usual that's always been the case. Enclosed in a psychedelic rooms could make you visually impaired or you can become claustrophobic. Just watching them with all those vibrant colors at the background can make me vomit and feel dizzy. BBC is probably an experimental or laboratory for those who were chosen to participate. Maybe a Harvard's experiment (?) How long you can hold your golf ball to your golf club? Or have a hole in one? Dane won the Head of Household and shared Wendy's burger and fries with Eddie. Dane would like to evict Adam and Sam but opted for Maki and Ryka (or Rysa) . Why sudden change of mind?
Cory had 3 missions when she joined the BBC and those missions were accomplished in 24 hours. Then she started doing paperwork at the storage. Darn! Don't let me guess your motives, people.
Tonight is the season finale of THE GOOD DOCTOR. What do you think about Dr. Murphy? Did he finally accepted his fate as the next Hospital pathologist that will control and minimize any surgery or operation and that could lead surgeons out of work?
What will happen at the BACHELOR? Who do you think Colton (who is a look-alike of Chris Pratt) will choose from among those 3 lovely beauties who were left behind in Portugal. They could be in Cuba, you know. Havana, Cuba.
Would you like Tysha who looked-like one of the lead character in "Vampire's Diary? Cassie who is a look-alike of Miley Cyrus? Or the Barbie doll? Trulala, Colton should be the one who decides not the fans.

Stop Monkeying With Humans
According to a politician, BILINGUALISM IS EVIL. Really? Sometimes. What about having to listen to multi-lingual summit?

Somewhere along the way, you'll be caught up with the great mess of a MIXing the true essence of what you have said simply because there are intonations, accent and true meaning of the words. You could ramble each word and you'll miss the point and true meaning or definition.
The Chinese language for example is not as simple as you think it is. The spelling of the characters they use in symbols, written and pronunciation of the words are all different in a way very complicated to grasp and understand. Let us have an example of a Chinese name Weng Wanzhou.
For non-Chinese you pronounce her name as "Weng Wanshoe." But actually is Weng Wanjo as the correct pronunciation. Are you sure? Baka mamaya sya ang maging "face" ng $5 after fifty years!
Washoe! Is he still alive? It's next to impossible to know the gender of Chinese names that's why they also use English names as it corresponds for their Chinese names. You have a hard time pronouncing their names anyway.
Ex. Jackie Chan = Sylvester Stallone
Tagalog is not easy to learn because the pronunciation of the words simply not the same as it is written but Filipinos like foreigners who are trying hard to learn the language even if their "e" becomes "i." Or the letter b becomes v.
French is wth trying to make everyone learn it in Canada when the Parliamentary Head is symbolized by a British Queen who speaks British English and we haven't hear her speak French in anyway.
For those who love the bilingual interpretation of everything and being a multi-lingual that you are, whoever you are... nothing's perfect. You can only be perfect in one language but you can have perfections in all the languages that you used. It's impossible. The French spoken in Quebec and French language being used in France is absolutely different. Yeah, that's fair enough, really nothing's perfect. Nobody's perfect!

Somewhere along the way, you'll be caught up with the great mess of a MIXing the true essence of what you have said simply because there are intonations, accent and true meaning of the words. You could ramble each word and you'll miss the point and true meaning or definition.
The Chinese language for example is not as simple as you think it is. The spelling of the characters they use in symbols, written and pronunciation of the words are all different in a way very complicated to grasp and understand. Let us have an example of a Chinese name Weng Wanzhou.
For non-Chinese you pronounce her name as "Weng Wanshoe." But actually is Weng Wanjo as the correct pronunciation. Are you sure? Baka mamaya sya ang maging "face" ng $5 after fifty years!
Washoe! Is he still alive? It's next to impossible to know the gender of Chinese names that's why they also use English names as it corresponds for their Chinese names. You have a hard time pronouncing their names anyway.
Ex. Jackie Chan = Sylvester Stallone
Tagalog is not easy to learn because the pronunciation of the words simply not the same as it is written but Filipinos like foreigners who are trying hard to learn the language even if their "e" becomes "i." Or the letter b becomes v.
French is wth trying to make everyone learn it in Canada when the Parliamentary Head is symbolized by a British Queen who speaks British English and we haven't hear her speak French in anyway.

Weird Story
I don't know for sure if you like watching Filipino drama series on OMNI TV. Well, instead of having those Korean tele-novela series on its regular time slot at 1 PM it's now occupied by Filipino drama with its subtitles on the screen in English. The Filipino actors and actresses conversed (dialogue) in their native tongue, sometimes in Taglish and Chinese language.
Lately, we are watching THE RICH MAN's DAUGHTER. When I first saw the characters of that series I was surprised, actually beyond surprised that Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly show) and Selena Gomez can speak Tagalog. O-M-G! Really?! Sila ba yun?
Look, maybe my vision is blurry. Maybe they are not those foreign stars from America. Maybe they are just "look-alikes."
You know, marami kasing artista na magkakamukha or nagiging magkamukha dahil iisa lang ang make-up artist nila. Or maybe kamukha nila yung mga stars na yun dahil kamag-anak nila.
I don't know if I like this drama series na medyo tragic dahil may mga taong pinagsisiksikan nila ang sarili nila sa mga taong hindi naman sila gusto. Or because may mga taong sobra na ang power grab para ng si Lucifer and kawalanghiyaan at meron namang mga tao na walanghiya at wala nang kahihiyan basta pinagpipilitan yung guso nila kahit na maubos na ang lahi nila. Parang "you and her against the world kahit na maling-mali na." Kahit na ibato mo sa mukha nila yung Holy Bible hindi titigil dahil feeling nila tama sila. Sabagay, may mga taong hindi ginagamit ang utak. No offense meant to those "characters" they are just playing their roles/part and the script given to them. Sana magbigay aral sa mga taong pilit na iniintindi yung sarili lang nila. Yung mga taong SELFISH, user and what else? Ikaw ba gusto mong ipaglaban ang sarili mong kapakanan kung ikamamatay ng buong family mo? The rich man's daughter is probably been taking something that lead to obsession or she just wants out of the family (out of the Chinese traditional values) to be free and those "girls" are her way out.
OMG, so fishy! I'm craving for fish right now.
I hope that tele/drama series must end na dahil nakakainis lang eh. Magcomedy na lang kayo. There is no such thing or situation like that. A rich man paying millions of pesos to the supposedly who would change her daughter from being a lesbian to a straight woman. I also don't believe that a woman became a lesbian after when she had a husband and a child from her husband. Kaduda-duda! A lesbian is a lesbian and she never would have in a situation to have feelings for a guy or have child with a man. A lesbian only has feelings for another woman, same gender relationship. If its a bisexual, ano yan mahilig lang sya sa sex or her hormone is just overflowing. Ganun din sa gays. Lalaki lang ang gusto nila. Pag nagkagusto sya sa babae? Meron bang ganun? Meron, he's just fooling himself or nagkukunyari lang para makachancing ng girls. Nobody will admit that. That's why an experiment or test should be conducted to find out.
You wont like what I had written/posted here but talk to your conscience and find out for yourself if you are gay or lesbian and what you think is right for you. Why suddenly you became who you are not? Nobody's born a lesbian or gay. From other confessions: Lesbians just hate men and gays hate men and women. It has something to do with hatred and revenge. Or they don't care about what other people say and do. They just follow their heart not their mind. Tama ba yun? Ok that's enough. I don't care! I just don't want to see what they are doing in private. They should act as normal when they are in public and when they have to do their "act" they have to do it in privacy. I mean baka maging Sodom and Gomorrah ang story nyo. Magkawildfire ulit at maging inferno ang mundo.

Voter's Choice?
Looks like the month of March herald controversial news too intense to shock TV viewers.
First the infamous negative remarks described by Michael Cohen to his former boss, the US President as he was interrogated by politicians in Congress while the Pres. was in Vietnam meeting the NK leader Kim Jong-Un.
Then the SNC-Lavalin's Scandal that put the former Justice Minister Jody W.R. in hot water and yesterday the sudden, abrupt resignation of Jane Philpott (MP) one of the Liberal Party's Cabinet member and what an awful way to discredit the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. What now? The Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer wants the PM to resign. Unhappy Canadians, so many of them are affected and would probably have a change of heart and the next election would determine their allegiance. Damaged credibility doesn't sit well with intelligent voters unless of course if they don't have a choice. I think they are pointing at the shock value as means to send message straight as what? They want OUT? They had ENOUGH?
It's not the biggest pot but the biggest PURSE!
It's either they work or serve their time! It seems like working for the highest office of the land meant to SERVE time and pay for their atrocities. Paying for what they owed? Well, if that's the kind of government for other countries what can you do? It's really up to the VOTERS. If you want to vote for people whom you like or dislike. Crook people voted for people they dislike so that they can suffer humiliation or what could be the motive of people electing officials who they actually hate? Or it was a faulty error or mistake on the part of voting machines and error in counting of votes? What could be?
We wont know the answer because time and time again after every election, in every country in the world there is that situation of the "blame game." After having known what's inside the government they always want to get out, escape and to never again be elected but that's not the usual case for those who love the attention, the fame, power grab and the value of money.
So, is it really Vox Populi, Vox Dei?
