Contaminated?

What's really the problem in TWD? The community where Carol, Rick and family, Morgan, Eugene, Daryl, and the rest of the original cast seems a modern place equipped with solar panels that provide them with electricity. The beautiful homes they have are good enough for them to live however, the big problem they encounter from the previous episodes is scarcity of  FOOD and safe drinking water and beverages. The community is surrounded by forest maybe from there they can harvest some mushrooms, young roots and tips from edible trees and bushes, there are probably different variety of berries, edible ferns, edible snails, and what else could possibly galavant inside the forest? Probably few animals such as moose, deer, elks, birds, rabbits or other rodents. However the risk involve in eating rodents. If there are forest animals maybe most of them were consumed by the rotting walkers or zombies. They can't fish from the lake because Daryl poured gas on it and the rest of the zombies were then burnt into the lake of fire. It was contaminated. They will always be hunting for food and drinking water. More conflict arising day by day because they are hunting for food and the non-walkers are in the same route of searching for food. Food is all that matters!

The episode last Sunday, with Daryl, Dr. Denise and Rosita out on the search for medical supply. They were unable to pass through the other side where the railway because of fallen trees that barricade the other side of the road. Rosita killed one of the zombie pinned down by the fallen tree. They found the pharmacy, abandoned and dirty. They got what they want for medical supply. Dr. Denise opened the room where she heard some kind of strange noise. She turned on the flashlight and saw an empty crib and a zombie tied on the wall. The sink had some kind of dirty goo with  child's shoes, the doctor freaked out and hurriedly run out from the pharmacy and just waited for Daryl and Rosita to get out from the store. While on the way to their vehicle, Dr. Denise saw a car with a cooler inside but beside it was a zombie. Daryl advised her to stay away from trouble but she didn't listen and grabbed the cooler however the zombies fight for it and grabbed her. Daryl and Rosita would like to help her but the doctor said she can do it by herself. She killed the zombies and got only the Crush soft drink. I first thought she's interested in the cooler. So weird! Then she keeps on talking and talking non-stop until she was hit by an arrow. She died instantly. The culprits came in the open, it was the guy who had stolen Daryl's crossbow & set of arrow and his gang held Eugene as their hostage. To shorten the story, Eugene did something risky and bit the guy's crotch and that made the guy scream and the shooting begun, the noise was heard by group of walkers and they came real fast towards the guy and his gang, while Abraham was shooting them in different direction and Daryl, Rosita got hold of their guns and started firing too making the bad guys run away to save themselves. Next scene, Eugene was saved. Daryl and Carol buried Dr. Denise at the cemetery inside Alexandria. Next scene, Morgan was out from the jail he created and eyeing on the priest who was walking at the other side of the lake.

Why Morgan created a jailhouse? Do you think he can catch a goat that he can use for milking and make cheese? It would be a miracle if he can find a goat or a cow in the forest. Why they can't plant tomatoes and other veggies? The fresh vegetables they can get from the Hilltop can be replanted. Tomatoes have seeds, swiss chards and bokchoy's bottom roots can be re-planted. However that will take time and they are so hungry. Alexandria has other inhabitants not introduce by Deanna (Tovah) before when she was alive and how many are they in that community? The forest has too many trees and why not they used them, cut them into logs into wood and use them to strengthen their fence.

Why no outside forces coming in through their state from another state? Why the communication is that futile and maybe all questions that need answer are just coming in through and can't be fulfilled in a matter of one episode. The limit is per episode after episode in tackling with conflict.
