Old movies I watched last night: Interview With The Vampire (Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt), The Last Exorcism, Meet The Fockers (Robert de Niro, Ben Stiller, and the others). I watched "Interview With The Vampire" in the cinema before. It was one of the most cinematic film about vampires and dracula. This is one of the unforgettable movie of Tom and Brad. Tom doesn't look cute being a vampire, he looks scary and ugly. Sorry! He is very handsome though when he's not a vamp. While Brad Pitt is so lady-like being a vamp. Oh let's call them draculas. Brad looks like a lady with long hair. I find this movie too good to be true of how vampire really originated in the 17th century. New Orleans remind me of Negros and Panay; the province in Philippines where the negroes are known to have cultivated the land for its sugar cane and pineapple. Then Antonio Banderas looks more like a spanish dracula adds flare to its vamp effect. In real life story based from history dracula and vampires are so real in Austria. That's where this cult originated. They drink blood. Yes real blood! Do they really suck blood from the neck of their victim? That I don't know. I think they drink blood from the cup. Gross! Thinking that the catholic priest usually have this "ceremony" about what Jesus Christ said at the Last Supper, "drink my blood." And no wonder there are few movies pertaining to the drinking of blood with Jesus Christ image on it, on their minds. Well the language is different in those times. We don't know or sure of what he meant as in literally or illiterally. Who you should believe then now? The Holy Spirit! Blood is used to commemorate the wine and His body meant the "living bread." Anyway, who is a hebrew and who is a real jew in this age and time who knows hebrew fluently? When in 19th century nobody knows English really well because almost everyone speaks a universal language that is latin. Only the wealthy, the rich people have access to education, only the chosen few can read and write.
The Last Exorcism is not that good movie, not much time for me to see it at the same time I was watching the first movie besides I don't know the actors and actresses. It's just that the performance is more like a "blair witch project." The exorcist is a scammer dude who is not really a real priest. The last part of the movie is a bit crazy just like those actors who are psychologically deranged but who knows what they are seeing when others can't see the strange mysterious poltergeists in that house. Poltergeists are common in old houses. Your house is 40 to 50 years old? Dude better prefer to leave it. Don't even bother selling it 'cuz nobody will buy such an old house. Too many critters roaming in old houses.
Meet The Fockers movie is one funny story of two families. How two families made the whole story complicated and in a very familiar way. How they grill each other so that transparency is evidently seen, no lies, no deception exposing everything that made them so frank and honest with all the vulgarity and what else they have to care for in the world when they just want to know each other in a very personal manner. So nothing's personal and nothing's so private with their lives here. It's all out! No secret!
