There Is A Law About Gravity

 The price of madre cacao or the cacao which is the source of raw chocolate is pricey that everything about chocolates are expensive. Nothing so cheap anymore that's for sure. 

The price of gas went up again. Nothing's cheap anymore. Everything goes up. 

What goes up must come down. There is also a law of gravity you know.

Then here comes pop-up store SHEIN and when reporters interviewed people about SHEIN they were like commenting badly having negative feedback. Like ,why buy goods from a company that deals with forced labor. What? What is force labor? Good that they are employed. Better than no work. Or claim that they employ young kids to work. How young for a human to not work and be idle for the rest of their lives? What is forced labor in picking up cotton from the cotton farm? How hard that would be? How hard to sew garments when you are using modern sewing machines? My God, those idiots are so f' ignorant about work. You think those workers are children? Asian people looked younger & shorter even if they are already age 40. 

Well, only for seconds... and then out of curiosity they were inside the department store browsing and later on buying goods. Daming kaartehan! LOL

Negative publicity sometimes help, sometimes it destroys.

Nothing's wrong with inexpensive items to buy. BE CLEVER. BE SMART! Good that there are cheap items and goods to buy. Anything that you can afford you must take advantage of it while you have the time and chance.

Why buy expensive goods? You think that expensive items are all 100% of good quality or better than the others? Actually expensive goods or brand items are expensive because of the brand name. You are paying the "name" not the quality or the material. You are paying too much because of the famous endorsers of those goods who are already millionaires and billionaires! Millionaires and billionaires who are stingy, greedy and corrupt.

BE FRUGAL. Be economically wise in times of adversity.

RIVER QUEEN - 2005 Adventure/Action/Drama

Starring: Samantha Morton (Sarah O'brian), Kiefer Sutherland (Doyle), Cliff Curtis (Wiremu), Rawiri Pene (the boy who was abducted by his grandfather)

It was 1860 in New Zealand, the British was at war with the Maoris. Sarah & her family were Irish who settled at the bank of the river. Sarah got pregnant by a Maori native and they had a boy named Rawiri. While Sarah and her son was playing peek-a-boo her son accidentally got injured. Sarah quickly had her first aid kit ready to treat her son's wounded knee. They played again next after but then the son went missing and they cannot find him, unexpectedly they knew that her son was abducted by the grandfather but Sarah and her family don't know where to find their hideouts. Many years passed by the war between Great Britain and New Zealand heightened. Sarah and her family don't know what to do until she was abducted by Wiremu and was taken to his tribe in the very deep forest only to be asked to heal and cure the tribe's leader or chieftain of his influenza. The chieftain was cured and he was grateful of Sarah that he was hailed her as "Queenie." The chieftain's womanizing escapade didn't stop there he was notorious for such even during at the time of bloody war. Crazy man. 

By the way, Sarah found her long lost son Rawiri but her son already acquainted to the tribal life. Then the British soldiers, led by British officer and Doyle discovered the Maori's hideout and attacked them. Doyle knew that the boy is Sarah's son and didn't harm him, however Doyle got shot and Sarah had to help him and back to the British camp without her son. Unfortunately, Doyle didn't survive.

The boy was taken by the British soldiers. Wiremu had to plead for the boy's life. Anyway, long story short, The boy, Wiremu and Sarah escaped through the rushing cascading water and hid inside the cave. The British soldiers followed their trails however took more days to finally found them and shot Sarah. 

Did Sarah survive? You bet she is. It was happy ending that  Sarah, Wiremu and Rawiri moved to Ireland to have better life. 

Note: When I first saw this movie, wondering who is Samantha Morton who played Sarah. She's very familiar, saw her before don't really know for sure what movie I had seen her face. Thinking, thinking...then alas, Samantha Morton was the actress in THE WALKING DEAD zombie apocalyptic tv series who played the ruthless bald-headed woman Alpha. 

Cliff Curtis also played in the horror/apocalyptic zombie series FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.

Kiefer Sutherland is much bigger actor but his role and appearance on the screen was cut short. He is the talented actor behind movies such as FLATLINERS (with talented actress Julia Roberts), TO END ALL WARS, 24 (tv series), DESIGNATED SURVIVOR (tv series), etc.

 SO UNBELIEVABLE!! It's hard to believe that the latest victim of cancer is the Royal Princess Catherine of UK who is undergoing Chemotherapy right away. I first thought the news through the internet was sort of rumor mill... Get well soon Princess Kate!🙏

Next, the Forever F1 Champion Verstappen finally have to stop racing at Lap 3 in Melbourne, Australia! He will never give up until his race car Oracle got caught on fire! It's ok Max Verstappen you are still Number ONE in our minds and heart.

The final bid for farewell to the former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney. R.I.P. Von Voyage to the Next Life PM! Condolences to the Mulroney family. 

Spring Snowstorm in some parts of Canada? Actually that's unusual. 

Alarming sudden mass attack happened in Concert Hall in Russia. More than 140 dead and many people injured. the assailants were caught. Russians didn't waste time and had dozen air strikes in Ukraine.

 WAR IN VIETNAM > The most controversial and the bloodiest war ever! 

Based from all the war movies I watched on our TV, the Vietnam war story is the bloodiest, gory and unforgettable. Que horror!

 FULL METAL JACKET, and recently 1968: TUNNEL RATS. 

In those two movies above there are survivors but in TUNNEL RATS nobody survives. This movie is brutally, wickedly produced. OMG! What kind of tunnel is that?

It all started with troops of American soldiers arrival in Vietnam to help with insurgency to help Vietnamese defeat Vietcongs (North Vietnamese - Communists). However, when the troops of soldiers camped inside the deepest of the forest unknowingly that underground is a mysterious tunnel where the Vietcongs live and hide. The soldiers found a hole and curiosity aside, one soldier volunteered to get in and find out for himself what's in there. He crawled in to the dark tunnel with a flashlight and a gun in his hand but the Vietcong had shot him. He died. The troops got mad and panic, two soldiers volunteered to get in and crawled to the dark tunnel carefully and almost got blown by grenade but was able to see the line that connects to the pin of the grenade. Good thinking for his good vision. They (2 soldiers) crawled to the end of the tunnel while there's another level down below that tunnel, the Vietcongs having a meeting. At the end of that tunnel another hole, up the ground, an opening and the soldier had his head up and out of the hole and too late to even say a word, a sharp bamboo spear already got her neck bluntly struck to his neck and the dead soldier got stuck in that opening. Then the female Vietcong cold blooded killer showed no remorse, dropped the grenade down the hole and the second soldier left behind in the tunnel was buried with the soil. More killings followed when the Vietcongs raid the American soldiers camp and deaths followed until a depressed, injured, hopeless American soldier ordered for air strike. Air strike arrived with a vengeance! Everybody got blown away. THE END.

Why Vietcongs too harsh and too barbaric? Vietcongs thought the Americans are invaders and they had witnessed some of them raping the Vietnamese women and they hanged one of their fellow Viets from a tree. That's what it is in the story. 

Conflict with the language. Who are Vietnamese & Vietcongs? They looked a-likes. There's no difference unless if the Vietcongs wear some kind of uniform. The problem with them is: turned out the majority of the Vietnamese liked Communism. They are in favor of the Communist Party movement. That it was a mistake for allied forces to be in there actually. Lives lost! So many Americans died and injured in that war. They should have known. WAR is something the country's leaders should think not twice but many times over as in 7x7x7x7x7x7x7

THE WAR IN VIETNAM was a very controversial war and intriguing that it opened so much political debate and had been in Psychology Textbook for many generations to study: Chapter 18: Social Influence (Just Following Orders in Vietnam) page 576-577 INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY by Atkinson, Atkinson & Hilgard.

Controversial Good Doctor Series & HOUSE

 Nobody likes a smart ass!

OK. That's true. But not too many people like stupid people especially those who are working for the Government or Health Care.

If you know what I mean. Just happened to watch the latest episode of THE GOOD DOCTOR. As usual that episode of  Charlie's curiosity led to Dr. Murphy informing her she should be a pathologist instead of being a surgeon. True! If you can see or feel anything microscopic without the need for microscope then so be it. I think hospitals and laboratories need humans with bionic eyes and bionic vision. It's the same thing with Nuclear Physics and Radiology, X Ray technicians should have better eyesight, the best vision that they could ever have. SEEING IS BELIEVING. It's their own findings that could determine the diagnosis of every ailments. Doctors and surgeons relied so much as in 100% from laboratory technicians, X-Ray tech radiologist and MRI scanner technician within their ability to SEE what is abnormal in those tissues, organs, and body fluids. Through their testing, through the help of their equipment we can find out or discover the diagnosis. Only if the test is accurate. Only if the equipment are state of the art, modern and not obsolete. Reason to believe... proof.

Ask Marie Curie how to properly use ultrasound machines and MRI scanner. You know how magnets attract? Can you scan magnets from a group of sand? Scanning those magnetic objects in one corner of space? You don't want your "magnets" inside your body taken out from you or you will lose your magnetism and you'll lose gravity. You will have to carry with you a lodestone , magnet or metals (steel or iron) in your legs and hips. If you lose your magnets on your hands you wont be able to use touchtone machines such as cellphones and other automated gadgets. You as a human being has "gravity" that can make you stand on the Earth's surface firmly or else you'll float like a balloon in space.

HOUSE MEDICAL SERIES. In that popular medical series on TV, Diagnostic Team led by the brilliant doctor/surgeon Dr. Gregory House (portrayed by talented Hugh Laurie) had to do the works of medical technologists & pathologists they almost worked on 24/hour basis to find what ails their patients. They don't rely on the works of X-Ray technician or MRI scanner radiologist, they do it handling those equipment and use modern technology seeing with their own eyes and vision. They don't allow other doctors in their team and nurses are not even allow in their "testing to know and find the cure and treatment."They became investigators.  If they have to dig graves they will do it. They even have to do the autopsy. HOUSE is similar to SEAL TEAM in their own extraordinary way. You wished in real life doctors have all the general knowledge about medicines. Specialty or specialization takes more than maybe another 4 years. * 8 years to be exact.

 

In reality, doctors are not allowed to do such thing because laboratory is separated from hospitals and the testing of such fluids: blood, urine, or stools take hours maybe days depend on location and how many patients in that hospital. Can they mix up one patient with another patient's test result? 

There are baby mixed up in the past. Like switched at birth. If that happens, there's a possibility that something out of the ordinary can happen. Yeah like in a horror movie.

Harmony & Finestkind

 Let's have movies once again. 

FINESTKIND.

 Starring: Tommy Lee Jones, Jenna Ortega, Toby Wallace, Ben Foster, etc.

Charlie (Toby Wallace) & Tom (Ben Foster) are brothers with the same mother, different fathers. Charlie asked his brother Tom if he could work for him for the boat Harmony and go fishing. Tom was reluctant and told his brother to just finish his education first. For whatever reason Tom allowed his younger brother to go sail with him along the coast but unfortunately the boat caught on fire and capsized. It's ok, the captain and the crews survived. While celebrating being alive from such devastating event, Charlie's father arrived and was pissed of and yelled that Charlie was wasting time when he could study Law in Boston University. Everyone in that bar was surprised, including Mabel. By the way Mabel instantly charmed by Charlie and they started a relationship.

Tom confronted his boss that the reason for the boat's accident and capsized its because the owner didn't bother to fix that boat. Tom was fired from work, got depressed and in seclusion until Tom's dad Ray Eldridge (Tommy Lee Jones) came to approach him and told him that he could use his boat the Finestkind. At first, Tom doesn't like to work for his dad until the old man insist, begging with please. and the next day, Tom & the crews set sail to the coast. While Charlie was too late to be with them, Mabel had to drive her car in an over- speeding maneuver  to the dockyard wanting Charlie to catch up to the Finestkind.

Next scenes: It was a bountiful harvest of scallops! OMG! I like scallops!! There are thousands upon thousands of scallops. Hmm, that's how they gather scallops? Scallops are expensive.

The guys cleaned the scallops from its shiny shells and take the "pulp" they looked like white pulps or cocoon inside the scallop shells. They cleaned them thoroughly and then store them in white bags and kept in the cold storage with tons of shaved ice. They already had enough of scallops and yet Tom decided to cross line through the delight of his crews. Their boat Finestkind had crossed the Canadian coastline and they started harvesting more scallops. They were so happy, overjoyed and then when they checked the boat's radar... they started getting nervous, what more when their harvester machine got entangled from the bottom of the sea. They all panic and Tom had no other option but got his torchlight or welding torch and started firing the rope, more like cable (steel rope) attached to the scallop harvester trap until it has fallen to the ocean. 

You think they got away?

If you want to know what unfortunate events happened to them, you should watch it for yourself.

Tommy Lee Jones had become Clint Eastwood! 

Am I kidding? Find it out for yourself. Ha ha ha!

Level 4 & Level 5 ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

 LEVEL 5 ENGLISH PROFICIENCY required in applying for migration to Canada. Wow! Really? What is Level 5? 

I don't know what level of English proficiency I had but I have a degree in Economics. In Philippines the medium of communication is in English since Kindergarten to College. Filipinos are bilingual, can speak  Tagalog & English and some of us can understand and speak other dialects. 

The medium of instructions in all public and private schools are in English and we only speak Tagalog or Pilipino language when talking to our friends, classmates or schoolmates or at home or in class room Pilipino language subject. At work so many of us speak English simply because it's the norm or but because we talk about medical products. I worked in Pharmaceutical company before where almost everyone speak or communicate in English and all written reports must be in English. I like to impress our Pharma director with my written report. lol. WELL THAT WAS LONG TIME AGO.

Level 4 in University is about technical writing. Skills. You must have high quality of skills when it comes to using the best vocabulary ever. Lexicography. You must have knowledge of thesaurus not just Webster's vocabulary words. You should be very creative in the most intelligent way with a great sense of purpose. Being professional in technical way. What is this for what purpose is technical writing? Well if you want to be an engineer, economist, thesis writer/creator, scientist, researcher, writers, doctors, pharmacist, medical representative, health care workers, businessmen... you must be proficient at Level 4.

LEVEL 4  is somewhat a mathematical equation in calculus. So Level 5 is quite easier if you are talkative.

How great are you or how fluent are Canadians with the English language?

Canadians also have accent event though they speak the language because simply so many of Canadians were immigrants from other countries; Europe, Asians, Latin-American, etc. 

There are some Canadians who are still unable to speak English. What's the trouble? I don't know for sure. Maybe they don't like speaking or talking. Maybe they could write in English. I  hope so. I once met a beautiful Japanese girl who seldom talk but when she showed me her written essay, she's really that good in writing.

Level 5 could be proficiency with communication as you will need this in trading. How you talk with people. You as the "speaker"  must be a good communicator in the English language. If you want to be the leader, the manager of a certain business, you must be fluent in English level 5.  How you sell yourself and promote yourself and your business. You want to be trade union leader, lawyer, a politician, news reporters ... for the media? That could be it. Be talkative! lol

What is Level 6? Hmmm... your English vocabulary must be demonic. Profanity at its highest level, mostly F WORDS. lol j/k
