LA BREA, THE WALKING DEAD: The Ones Who Live, etc.

 LA BREA the massive sinkhole that opened up in California has finally ended and it was happy ending. I don't know why it's already finished. It's nice to have a pre-historic television series just like that, an adventure fantasy, with little thrill to tickle your funny bones. 

It's ok, THE WALKING DEAD has returned with its sequel THE ONES WHO LIVE at AMC 6pm every Sunday.   First episode was the revelation of how Rick Grimes was rescued by Jadis after the explosion at the bridge and was taken by helicopter to the CRM Headquarters. How Rick Grimes tried so hard to escape to see his family even cut his hand but without success not able to escape and stayed at CRM until he was promoted and became one of the high ranking official and co-pilot flying the helicopter? Wow! 

Then second episode of THE ONES WHO LIVE, Michonne had battled with so many zombies, the hardship she encountered during the long journey to find her husband Rick Grimes, met new friends but succumbed to death from the toxic fumes sprayed at them by soldiers of the CRM. Michonne survived and her new friend but when another helicopter came the midget shoot them with rocket arrow and had damaged the helicopter and instantly killed Rick's co-pilot and the helicopter crashed. Michonne, one by one had to kill the CRM soldiers until she got hold of Rick's and saw that it was her husband behind the mask. 

Third episode of THE ONES WHO LIVE. Rick Grimes and Michonne had to lie and keep a secret to stay inside the CRM and survive. However, secret no more when Jadis came into the picture. Jadis always repeated her words to remind that she saved Rick and if he ever escaped from CRM she will kill everybody in his family. Rick asked Michonne to escape but he will stay inside CRM. One highly ambitious newly promoted  female officer knew that Michonne is a grave threat that she keeps watch on her. She asked Rick to take Michonne in another camp but Michonne got another dangerous plan. TO BE CONTINUED.

TV SERIES I'm still hoping they return for this season such as: MIDWICH CUCKOOS, and IRREVERENT. Why? Because of its extraordinary stories that entertain and shocked senses.

 THE GOOD DOCTOR. Episode last night was another weird story. How a Chinese couple had their daughter confined to hospital with her ailment causing her to lose her liver. The only solution is a live donor for organ transplant. Here's the confusion: how those couples are not matched with their daughter's vital organ then that's truly confusing though. That the daughter is matched with somebody else's outside of their family, presumed to be the biological father of a Chinese girl who doesn't know or believe the accusation because the biological father is not a Chinese. The only thing that matched is their singing talent or ability to sing.  But you know, this television series had proven so many unpredictable events or situation that is more than fiction. Also in the story is Dr. Murphy tried so hard to do a research on how he could save Dr. Audry out of depression by a special surgery on her spinal cord which of course a very risky, delicate operation. Dr. Audry broke down in tears, she's a surgeon and she knows what would happen to her in a life and death risky operation. Dr. Glass intervened for Dr. Murphy to stop his plan whatsoever. If Dr. Audry is not interested or reluctant to have such operation then it's a NO. Acceptance is the key or pray hard for miracles. The new surgeon in their hospital also had disability when she got injured in Afghanistan, her leg was amputated and had to wear prosthetic leg to be able to walk.  Later on Dr. Murphy offered a breakthrough plan of operation to save another patient from dying. He's really that GOOD.

VAMPIRE ACADEMY. When those royal vampires get so thirsty they will really suck the blood out from any member of the lower court by hook or by crook. When the guardian suddenly failed or reluctant to do their job to protect one of the royal families, the guardian is set to be replaced right away. 

THE CLEANING LADY was not shown last night maybe end of series for the season. ?

 THE WALKING DEAD. Group of kids were abducted together with Negan and his wife, and other members of the original cast together they were taken to the "secret outpost." Maggie, the priest and Espinosa escaped from the hands of the Commonwealth soldiers. Carol and Daryl saved Connie from the abductor, the train's conductor killed himself. Only few more episodes until its finale and it's gonna be the END OF TWD.

Tonight is LA BREA tv series.

Tomorrow is the continuation of AMAZING RACE, SURVIVOR Outwit & Outplay reality tv shows.

STEAL

 WAR OF THE WORLDS. New television series (not the movie of Tom Cruise) with foreign actors as cast of this scary, surreal invasion of "aliens." The aliens are "humans with some peculiar taste for human blood" they are not vampires but the blood transfusion helped these brand new aliens to survive on Earth. The Earth 's sky is like a canvas of grey sky not blue sky and a huge black hole appeared and they don't know what it is. Dr. Catherine Durand who is a scientist trying to pinpoint the origin of the giant black hole and its gravitational force had her time warped from the Earth to a chaotic version of Earth where her sister is alive not dead, all the while she was actually in a coma inside the hospital. Mind boggling of course. 

In this series, robotic dogs without heads are the terminators, owned by humans with black tattoos on their hands that symbolized two circles ( circle within a circle).

LA BREA. Continuation of this science fiction series: Eve and Levi were captured by the men in leather suits and let them work in a cave digging for coal. They planned to escape. Eve was outside the cave and found that her ex- husband Gavin was also captured. More dialogues then later Eve, Gavin and Levi planned the escape however, they were captured back again and back to the cave... While Lucas, Veronica, and Rohan decided to steal food from the villagers. Rohan had other plans... and he saw the old comics of  " Journey To The Center Of The Earth" by Jules Verne in one of the outpost, and a flashy card with an inscription LAZARUS. He took the card and hid it, however on the way to the ruins, somebody was following him and asked if he found what she wants. Rohan gave it to the female doctor but she told him to keep it because it might open the doors to bring Josh and Riley back to the sinkhole and to "3000 BC." 

Hmm...dunno how the series will be interesting for those who love Star Trek. 

SURVIVOR. The VISI team finally won and had the prize of  fish for food but they can trade it with something else from other teams: COCO & BAKA. They traded the fish with basket of fruits. Then one of the Visi members has to steal or trade with fishing gear, cassava roots. 

To think that there are cassava root crop in that Fiji island, there are fruits such as papaya, etc. Those teams who didn't win anything got nothing to eat? Or they don't know what is growing in the island? Mind blowing. The island is surrounded by ocean water, there are school of fish, whether you have no fishing gear you can probably swim and capture fish or crabs or look for oysters on the shore of the beach. There are coconut groves. They stayed in the island for more than weeks after weeks and they cannot build a house made of bamboo and coconut leaf sheath. Hard to believe. 

Have you seen the movie BLUE LAGOON? Kids could live and survive without parents or any older people in a remote island. Why old people with more experience and skills cannot build a house that could last for their one month stay at least or long duration of their stay in an island. Or could it be when the cameras stop grinding then they have to sleep and stay in a luxury hotel and come back again to the island feeling like impoverished, tired, hungry and filthy. Maybe that's the idea. That their families once they saw them how unhappy, crazy, dirty and feeling like they are suffering, they  will bail them out from the island. Because at the end of this show, the one who should win never win anyway, just like those who competed in BIG BROTHER shows. Whatever.

Movie I enjoyed watching recently, NOW YOU SEE ME 2 (Story of the illusionists and magicians). Brilliant. The writer/scriptwriter of this movie is a genius.

La Brea & TWD

 OMG! I was surprised of the return of  LA BREA.

I first thought this television series was already canned or cancelled because no trailer whatsoever or no news about its return to the television screen. Then all of a sudden LA BREA series was on CTV Channel last night.

Episode: THE NEXT DAY. The continuation of this series, when Eve's ex-husband and their daughter plus Lilly came to the rescue and had the same situation of falling to the sinkhole and land on 3,000 BC Pre-historic and they landed on the beach and saw a large mammoth elephant they knew they are in the same location where Eve and her son, Levi and the rest of the cast were stuck in such a "time warped zone." New tribes were introduced and Eve was caught by this new tribe dressed in black leather & Levi decided to just join Eve and shared the caged cart onward to the tribe's village.

Were they really time warped in Pre-historic part of the Earth? Or the sinkhole is just an opening on earth's layers and the prehistoric creatures were just cloned as part of the experiments by scientists?

Hmm, I don't know. I have too many guesses and opinions but don't like to spoil the whole story of this new series LA BREA. 

They should make it unpredictable as much as possible just like THE WALKING DEAD.

Sorry folks, THE WALKING DEAD will soon come to an end. The last finale will be on next sunday and it is the END. No more. Final.

I know, we are so fanatic about TWD for about eleven years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And those actors and actresses were already bored and tired of their roles that maybe the reason why it must end.

Something Weird Happened in too many TV SERIES

 After Alicia was locked by crazy Ted for such a very long time inside the secret bunker and then two episodes had her appeared in the scenes leading to Morgan meeting her once again after he had Grace trapped inside Strand's beacon building. Alicia joined forces with Dwight and other tent people in an unknown location away from the prying eyes of Strand. 

However, upon such 10 minutes of meeting each other (Alicia & Morgan) another batch of walking dead came into the picture and cause undetermined havoc to the tent people. They fired relentlessly shooting the zombies too late to notice that they have bombs in their rotten  bodies. Everyone fled the scene. However, Morgan followed the dictates of Alicia as Alicia followed the rotting body of the senator who is the zombie that will show them the "right path to PADRE." Morgan was adamant at Alicia's sense of strategy or is she gone crazy too? While following the zombie senator, Victor Strand followed them. She asked Alicia to go with him but she decided to dive down the river and Morgan had to dive down too or else he'll be dead. It seems that Strand doesn't like Morgan or Morgan doesn't like Strand. They don't like each other. Later on, Alicia informed her personal  tragic story to Morgan. I was shocked at what really happened to her at the bunker together with the zombie senator and the guy whom she trusted to cut her off hand after she was bitten. OMG! She lives to tell her brutal entry to the light that the zombie followed and the path leading to the building already owned by Victor Strand. What the hell.

What tragic ending for Alicia. Well, if she will perish or die in FEAR THE WALKING DEAD series.

How about LA BREA tv series?

LA BREA is a science fiction drama series with Bible story infusion. It's hard to believe the story of course unless if you are a STAR TREK fans and you believe in teleportation.

Would you like your nine year old son taken away by strangers and take him on top of the mountain and tell him to stand on the beam of light, for the promise that he will become a pilot when he grows up to be a man? And that will save her husband Gavin and her kids. Who the f'idiot will believe such story? But you know, some kids are somewhat very obedient and respectful of some adults. Just because Eve happened to be named like Eve from the Holy Bible and Isaah and Joshua's name are Bible stories' names...for God sake! Yup, it's really BAD APPLE, dude. I don't know if there's another episode after that.

That's what happened when the pandemic had everyone stranded, trapped and well... nothing to do. Your imagination will always finds a way to something unfamiliar in unfamiliar territory.

 THE LOST SYMBOL. Same thing. WEIRD things happened in this Dan Brown's novel/tv series. When the good boy/son killed his own mother what could be happening in the killer's mind? What kind of DNA he's got? Zachary and Katherine had one thing in common, they like to experiment on sound. Their weird, strangest experiments are somewhat of alien origin or both of them had some form of "god like mentality or god complex syndrome" of control. Controlling how and what people think and follow those consequences. Very manipulative.
