An old lady who posed as a school bus monitor for grade school kids received a reward. Wow! That's the prize of bullying!? She was bullied by unruly wicked kids and then it was seen, viewed in the internet so many times by million of viewers. A good samaritan who acted as fundraiser raised monies for that old lady. Well another Rosa Parks version. Great! Why do kids so bratty and wicked acting so mean with that old woman? Why is she not being respected at all by elementary school children? Are the kids so bad in this time ? In this generation? Do we have so many brats?????
Who's to be blamed for this? Are the parents to be blamed or the school teacher? Or the government? Who we need to blame for having so many bullies and brats? Do you think it also because of too much technology and children are so hyper and they only listen to the machines? They are so WIRED to high technology. You don't take drugs nor take maryjane but too much light act as drugs too. Modern Technology can take you higher and to the high speed. No doubt!

ShowBiz
Sunod-sunod ang mga popular television shows, nag umpisa na ang masigabong competition habang patapos na ang pinaka-finale ng MASTERCHEF series. So it was Kristine Ha who won the title Masterchef. When it comes to presentation and attractiveness of how gourmet food looks like, ala French style cuisine magaling si Josh Marks. The three judges were impressed on his stylish presentation as classic chef in a five star hotel restaurant. They love his ice cream. But the rest of the food they seemed to argue and looked at each other. Then when it comes to Kristine Ha's typical oriental cuisine, the presentation is somewhat un-attractive. It's not impressive. Truth is just ordinary so-so blah style however it's the "flavor" of the food that she cooked that made the three judges that put her over the edge against Josh. FLAVOR > the taste of the food!!!!!!!!!
You as a customer what really is your opinion when you go to the restaurant? What are your choices?
First, you want to go to the restaurant because you are tired of cooking and bored about eating the same kind of food. Choosing a restaurant to go to and spend an hour sitting or less than that and be served with delicious meal is great. Then you want to go back there because you love their food. DELICIOUS FOOD cooked by their chef or line cook. Others preferred to be in their favorite restaurant because of its great service. All the waitress and waiters are polite, courteous and knew how to entertain their customers really well as if they had their SERVE IT RIGHT certificate.
For the most part customers would like to enjoy delicious affordable kind of food that will fill their stomach without breaking their wallet. That even if you go home the food stays there in your tummy as a sign that you are satisfied from you have eaten.
Anyway, congratulations to Kristine.
Next TV Shows that are in competition with the same time broadcast last nite: Hell's Kitchen, THE VOICE, next is the SURVIVOR Philippines edition and sooner than later the X FACTOR of Simon Cowell.
THE VOICE show is somewhat weird. The 4 judges: Christina Aguilera, Blake, Adam Levine, Ceelo have to listen to the contestants voice first without seeing the singer then they have to choose that person on stage depends on how much they like the voice of the contestant. Really?! One contestant didn't have that recorded song or I mean singing live I think and he was not chosen. That's the awful thing about such show. Anybody can fool them by using pre recorded song and somebody can lip-synched it on stage and they can vote on that person without seeing and what happened after that? Sort of a pre-halloween trick or treat eh? Or maybe, maybe they were already auditioned before. They were really singer and they have to revive their career. What could be? Anyway, television viewers are not stupid you know. Before computers were invented TELEVISIONS there already to act as your guide to information technology. So don't blame me and millions of TV viewers.
In American idol and Canadian idol show > all contestants have to sing live using their own voice or singing with their own musical instrument of choice which is a good thing otherwise why get somebody who lip-synched? Maybe you can do that when you are very popular like Britney Spears. However her talent for dancing and sexyness is what her fans really like including her pretty face.

Magshopping Ka Naman
Nagshopping ka na ba sa Staples? Sa Canada lang ata may store na Staples. Meron na rin ba sa Amerika?
Kakaiba ang feeling pag nagshopping ka sa store nila lalo na sa bandang electronics. Masyadong maingay ang machines nila. Laging may nagkiclick at nagbebeep. Maximum overdrive na ata sila doon.
Then magshop ka naman sa Radioshack grabe na rin. Hindi ako makahinga doon. Amoy electronics. Muntik na akong masuka!!!! Siguro dahil maliit lang ang space sa store nila kaya yung amoy ng mga computer, radio, telephone, cellphones, laptop, notebook talaga namang amoy na amoy electronics.
Siyanga pala pag may computer ka sa loob ng bahay or sa loob ng cuarto mo kailangan meron kang fan or the room is aircon para hindi mag overheat ang computer. Paalala lang dahil para kasing oven yang computer. So konting ingat.
Then bigla mong buksan ang door ng Winners. Shock!!!! Grabe! Ang bantot! Ah siyanga pala pulos leather ang tinda nila. Mga original leather bags, shoes and mga clothes nila ay orig din. Kaya ganun. Mabantot!
Maselan masyado ang pang-amoy ko. Malayo ka palang amoy na kita. Ha ha ha! Ewan ko ba. Sensitive ang sense of smell ko siguro dahil medyo malabo na ang mata ko. Pero minsan perfect eyesight and vision ako. Ah kasi kailangan ko ng eye-mo once in a while.
Sabi nga nila pag malabo daw ang mata mo perfect ang pang-amoy mo. Tutuo nga! Salamat naman. Perfect din ang pang amoy ko pag something fishy na ang labanan sa internet, sa facebook at sa blogging community. Bakit kasi highly competitive kasi ang labanan dito maski sa mga television networks sa dami ng channels ngayon na umaabot sa 4,000 channels lalo na yung may satellite dish pa sa wall ng mga kapit-bahay tyak yun ang TV channels nila abot hanggang Nevada and Arizona. Siguro wala pa silang "no signal" or there's no ghost on tv screen. Maraming ghost kasi pag malalaki at matataas ang gusali. Hmm, bakit ba napunta sa ghost?
Malapit na ulit ang Halloween siempre pang batang celebration yan. Ewan ko kung type kong magjoin pero...puede na rin.

Something Very Interesting
Nanood ba kayo ng MASTERCHEF kagabi? Kristine, Josh, Becky > the remaining contestants in that blockbuster televsion show. Akala ko kagabi ang pinaka finale. Hindi pala. May kasunod pa palang episode yun. Grabe naman. So next week uli ang final finale. Becky's out and only Josh (once a military guy), then Kristine (with special needs? or handicap?) It seems unfair that Becky was out of the contest. Well she was promised by the chef of Hell's Kitchen of a job offer in a restaurant and that was good assurance that she did a great job. Sometimes when work becomes odd and there is so much challenges and oddity there you'll see which one who really passed the test. If only the test is about the same for every cook. This is true in the sense that even in schools when students are to take the same kind of test, the same kind of subject but test are different for each student and for every individual. That's how tough it is.
In Masterchef show Becky was the last to have the chance to cook something that she haven't try yet. Since it was Kristine who was asked first which of the uncooked meat : chicken, beef oxtails, or frogs she wants to cook and present and serve to the 3 judges...she had chosen the chicken meat. Then Josh had the option to cook oxtails and unfortunately Becky had no other choice but to cook the frogs.
This kind of oddity in testing cook, students or workers depend on the person's talents and ability. Examiners wont test a person's IQ or ability if that person wont ever cope up or has no ability or capacity to know that testing is simply a matter of formality. It's all black and white out there but anyway WHO CARES? It's just a show. Don't they have script? Is it scripted? That's what happened in front of the camera, on television, in movies there's always a SCRIPT.
Life's real issue when it's really REALITY and you are not in real movies, you are not an actor nor an actress everything is not fun and everything is real and it's your own drama and comedy. Well only YOU know what life is anyway. I know not cool! Not cool when you're in front of the camera and people look at you like you have to be smart and hope to God that nobody will shame you or put you in a very provocative way. Well thank the Lord God if you're not a celebrity but an ordinary human being because in real life to each his own or her own. Your life's not my life.
What so funny about the food they cooked?
The chicken is filled with crumbs and they looked so dry. The judges said it's crumbly but soft tender inside?
Then the oxtails looked weird. It's like covered with sponge with sauce. Is it spongey or fat? Like a spongey caulliflower hahahaha. It was cooked on pressurized cooker and it shows tiny meat but bigger portion of fat? What? That's how it's viewed on television screen. Fat should melt after it's been cooked. How come that oxtails are strange!

Reminds me of the cuttlefish or squid I bought at the local supermarket and cooked it with coconut milk. I was cooking the squid and I found it hard to make that squid softer and tender than it should be. It was unusually tough. There is something wrong. It was tough like rubber! Actually it was fake squid. Shocking eh? Who the hell sells fake squid? Why? What for?

The frogs looked like small chicken legs and fried on small amount of oil while the potatoes were soggy soaked on hot oil. But the judges said the frogs are delicious. Yuck!
The judges thought and tested the food they cooked are delicious so they based their judgment on presentation. Becky lose her chance on cooking fish sauce (from scratch leaving small portion of fish) on her first trial test. You can have a bottle of fish sauce and have bigger portion of fish.
Who will win next time? Josh or Kristine? Be the judge or judge them for yourself.

Puede Ba Paki-esplika Nga Po
Shocking naman akala ko dahil graduate na ang pamangkin at nakapasa sa Board of Nursing ay okay na Registered Nurse na sya perom may OJT pa pala at instead na OJT with pay ay sila pang mga RN ang dapat magbayad sa Hospital. Kataka-taka naman di ba? Ganyan na pala sa bansang Pilipinas. Hindi uso yan nuong panahon ni Marcos. All medical workers or newly grad. students of nursing and those especially who passed medical and RN are required to do the rural service free of charge actually "voluntary" pa nga yan. Pero kung sila pa ang magbabayad for that rural service aba sobra na yan. Pag REGISTERED NURSE na kailangan straight job na yan. WORK WITH PAY na ang dapat dyan. Don't be so hard on students who already made the effort to help their family and their community especially the country where they were born. Bakit kung sino pa yung mga may birth right sa bayang sinilangan ang pinahihirapan ng gobyerno dyan. Ano bang klaseng Pilipinas yan?
Grabe na! Ano ba talaga ang Philippines? Philippines pa rin ba sya? Or ang may-ari ng Philippines ay mga dayuhan na? You know what? You need a NEW CENSUS! Over-all census survey of all the Filipinos living in Metro Manila. Just Metro Manila. Try it Mr. President. I want to know the entire population of Metro Manila. Outside Metro Manila is already another country! You know...Quiapo nga lang medyo alanganin na if that belongs to Philippines eh.

Are the Filipinos earning wages in dollars now? You can probably sell items or products lesser than what it supposed to be but if you are selling products the same price tag or similar to the prices allowed in Canada or USA you should ask for wage increase. All workers in the Philippines should demand higher wage increase to be able to meet the demands.

Seriously What's It's Like To Be Rich?
Teka nga sarap mang-asar eh. Merong blogpost yung isang Pinoy. Kasi naman siguro dahil ngayon ngayon lang kami nagka TFC siguro feel nya poor ako. OO na sige na nga kasi ang TV channels namin ay abot up to 4,000. Then we only had chosen about exclusive channels na we usually watch when we're not busy. Over 100 TV Channels is $120/month plus tax. We have the NEWS Channels kasi mahilig ako sa current events. CBC News, Check News, CTV, BBC British channel, even India's channels meron kami, then Chinese channels, Korean, too many cartoon TV channels, at least five channels for free movies and VOD (Video On Demand this channel you have to order video. With pay or you have to rent VOD ranging $5 to $6.00 /movie >worth of video viewing. So ngayon nga may TFC kami dapat lang di ba dahil Filipina ako dapat may Filipino channel. Hindi naman ako nanonood ng drama nila kasi hindi ko na feel ang dramang pinoy. Parang maarte or OA na ang dating. Sorry ewan ko ba. Hindi nga parang iba na ang reaction ko sa drama ng mga Filipino dyan eh. Hindi tulad nung unang mga drama ni Annaliza (Julie Vega) or yung acting ni Maricel Soriano. Iba na ang Pinas. Malaki na ang pinagbago sa Pilipinas. Marami ng yumaman at higit sa lahat marami ng mayabang. Sorry ulit kung merong mga tinamaan.
I know mayayaman na sila. Ewan ko ba kung bakit sila yumaman? Kasi dito sa Canada halos pare-pareho lang ang mga tao. Lahat nagbabayad kasi ng tax. Walang families dito na may sampung anak. The family here, or families tried their best to support their families through hardwork. Kung meron mang mga millionaire tyak yun walang mga anak or 2 or 3 lang ang mga anak. Or mayaman sila dahil may business sila. Ganun dito. Walang mayabang kasi tyak yun may aaligid- aligid na taxman.
So sa tutuo lang wala nga akong cellphone. Alam ko maraming mayaman sa Pinas halos payabangan sa dami ng cellphones. Komo may cellphones mayaman na? May mga computers na rin halos lahat ng mga tao dyan. Mabuti naman. Malaki ang mga malls dyan at mataas ang mga buildings. Ang tanong ay sa inyo ba yan? Baka magising kayo hindi na pala Pilipinas yan kundi extension ng Korea, Japan at China. Pero ok lang di ba? Hindi na kayo mag - ooverseas work sila na ang lumapit para mabigyan kayo ng trabaho. Sana nga ganun ang motive nila. Too civilized na dati namang civilized and Philippines pero sa mga dayuhan siguro lalong uunlad ang bansang Pilipinas. SANA.

May TFC Na Kami
My sister had their TFC long time ago. Ano ba ang TFC? Yun ang The Filipino Channel. They were hooked to watching TFC because of the TV's Filipino drama series "Amaya." I watched that tele-drama before while I was there at their home for a visit. Other than that I don't know what really are "that good stuff in TFC." So lately we had that extra channel nakakamiss din kasi ang Philippine's news tulad ng TV Patrol. I don't even know who they are now in TV Patrol. Then one day I watched it and featured that guy Ted Failon. I don't know if he is that guy riding the banca in a slum area's canal. While they were investigating such area somebody just threw a bag of garbage on that dirty canal. The garbage hit the water and the filthy water splash a bit on his face. That alone makes you feel pity for those people who are always in danger to bring about news on what's happening everywhere just to broadcast news to people who would like total information on TV and internet. Risking your life, your health is jeopardize and what else is next? Also seeing those people who worked hard to clean that ravaged filthy dirt, floating garbage on the canal, river and beaches and their hands are so bare without any protective clothing, gloves and masks. Can you just imagine what you are doing? You'll go home to your family and who knows infect them the dirt from those filthy area. You may be so clean and in order. You maybe so critically annoyed about all the filth of garbage but what you have on your face, hands, and what other kind of germs you have there will affect the people you encountered afterwards. It's NEWS! Controversial news! I don't know about you but how strong is your resistance to infection?
The mayor of Vancouver had that experience. He volunteered to collect garbage from his area of responsibility and know what in one of his collection, something hit his eye. Dirt has penetrated his eye. What happened after that? Dirt and germs on your eyes? It was shown on TV how that happened. So if you are a garbage collector make sure you have protective clothing, mask, and gloves. People get sick. If you are not affected or you haven't been infected with any kind of illness now it might have its incubation period and you'll have to suffer in later years. Or you are not affected now but probably you will infect others. Better remind these people about the CONTAGION movie. Watch it so that you'll know how to protect yourself and the lives of others.
If you are not worried about yourself not getting sick PLEASE BE KIND TO OTHERS who do not have the resistance to stop infection and germs infiltrating their bodies.
Who are these people whose resistance is weak? People who are suffering from cancer, children and adults with leukemia, people with diabetes, old people. Need to add more?
The mayor of Vancouver had that experience. He volunteered to collect garbage from his area of responsibility and know what in one of his collection, something hit his eye. Dirt has penetrated his eye. What happened after that? Dirt and germs on your eyes? It was shown on TV how that happened. So if you are a garbage collector make sure you have protective clothing, mask, and gloves. People get sick. If you are not affected or you haven't been infected with any kind of illness now it might have its incubation period and you'll have to suffer in later years. Or you are not affected now but probably you will infect others. Better remind these people about the CONTAGION movie. Watch it so that you'll know how to protect yourself and the lives of others.
If you are not worried about yourself not getting sick PLEASE BE KIND TO OTHERS who do not have the resistance to stop infection and germs infiltrating their bodies.
Who are these people whose resistance is weak? People who are suffering from cancer, children and adults with leukemia, people with diabetes, old people. Need to add more?
