Something Good and Something Bad

Know what? I failed to mention the important part of the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." The very intriguing controversial scene wherein the father of Charlie was stealing the lead cover for the toothpaste. The "lead cover" were then given to Charlie for him to build his own lego-like chocolate factory. What could go wrong in that situation then you'll ask me. With all those missing caps how do you like the customers' reactions to that? Reaction and counter reactions and troubles and more troubles the end result is laying off workers and worst of all the closing down of the business establishment. That's how awful-bad result and you should be aware that one false move can lead to downfall of a major industry.

Then another movie which is also a good example of the frailties of mankind and machines. WALL E is such an inspirational animated movie of a robotic creature whose main task is the business of recycling until of course he met Eve another robot. Ha ha ha ha ha! Funny. Noticed all the fatso in that movie. Uhm, better be quiet here with those fat 'cuz I might eat and feast on lechon comes New Year celebration. You have to watch it to appreciate the entire story.

What is so bad about recycling? And when to stop?

You cannot recycle paper that were recycled a lot of times. No amount of chlorine can bleach and sanitized them thereby you can't be sure that those recycled paper are good for your behind. Nor good for your baby's diaper or for your sanitary pads. Worst of all recycling can just pollute the water system and would be unsafe for drinking. Recycling uses a lot of water and next thing you know there wont be enough safe drinking water for all of us here on earth.

What else to watch on TV aside from those DVDs? Ah ----that Corner Gas of Brent Butt and Lacey is also good for entertaining your weary mind if you want a light comedy. CSI of David Caruso, just in case you want a suspense action drama while NCIS is another CSI with different cast. Sports? They are all power play.

Hold your breath! Amazing Race wants your money for they have that "Unfinished business." They really want to win the ONE MILLION DOLLARS from Jerry Bruckheimer. All your favourite teams will compete once again. Not this year though but on February 2011 dude hehehe! Year of the Rabbit. Keep on hoppin' and JUMP !

Relaxation is a good exercise

I happened to watch the movie "Willy Wonka" the latest version not the old classic one last nite. The first Willy Wonka is a "classic" and although I don't really know the whole cast for they were older actors and actresses I favored the first version. I hate to say this...that Johnny Depp's acting in this movie is not at its best. He is always in a flashback or trance. Well that could be that's the reason why he looked like as if he is not "normally in compliance" with the rest of the cast. I don't find this remake a good movie. Nah, poorly done. Sorry.

Johnny's acting is best remembered only in movies such as the "Pirates' as Jack Sparrow. Or Edward's Scissorhands or "In the Nick of Time."

Besides, the old movie, the original "Willy Wonka" has better cast and yes the very wise, speedy Violet is a great Olympian with the score point of perfect 10 and that makes the movie worthwhile.
Also Charlie in that old movie is much better with his kind of acting. Know why? I think it has something to do with the director who want perfection with their acting and dialogue that rhymes in accordance with the sights and sounds of the movie. Timing. Yes right timing and deliberation.

Oh well, we'll be watching more old remakes or old movies and replays on TV for the time being.
Time to relax.

Itick Itick or Tiktik?

So you think stellark booted me off from facebook? Really? Are you sure? I booted off SYTYCD because they are done dancing for this season. It is unfair for other show on TV. Besides the supposed to be winner never wins. that's the tragic unfair of what that show is all about. It cannot be MZ booting me off that FB know why? It cannot be the Maharlika because they are not really Maharlika in the truest sense of that word. No I am not trying to be controversial here. As a matter of fact I hate their guts. Ahahahha. Stirring controversy to their issues. Whatever that is. I know you love to be the talk of the town. I will give you the spotlight and the limelight in my blogs.

About Reynz being the so called intelligent for being the chismosa ng bayan. Hay naku mas type ko ang samosa. You know those triangular-shaped snacks made or wrapped like springrolls. The ingredients are almost the same as in springrolls but this snacks are cooked with curry paste or sauce to give a tangy spicy taste.

Now what happened to my page in Facebook? I cannot log in after posting Santa Claus in there. It's kind of weird ha. I hope the hogwarts didn't take over the world there or else it would be an airbender kind of thingy. Yes the "Social Network" is still ahead of the game even if you have Lucy the elephant there. Lucy the pachyderm not Vera or Dumbo. Take it as humor not sarcasm. I have a new story that I've been wasting time it's the story of Lucy and Anjelina. Two bestfriends taking Botany subject in College and their trip to the jungle of Borneo. I was in the middle of the story when I found something missing to its entirety and with too many interruptions like having to read a news story somewhere in the internet with the same or almost similar plot and right there I STOP writing. First of all ayoko ng may kapareho ako even in the stories or plot. So I have to start once again changing the plot, changing the venue, changing the characters. I don't know if its the same kind of problem that many writers of today are dealing with. Of course we all want to be different. We all want to keep our work to us as if it is our own children that we have to keep them safe and only to us alone not anybody taking them away because they don't have children. That's how I envisioned my work, my books, my personal belongings...to me alone unless of course if I want to show them and let them read or view the whole entirety of that book. The limit of what you can view. Not all of what we are seeing are free that's why there are tag such as PPV. However some people are thieves you know. Even if you tell them they are copyrighted still the more they are after your work. How could that be? Well blame it on the joy of hacking. Nerdy geeks are proud to announce and broadcast what they've hacked they don't have that so called "ethics."

Majority Rules

Who will win ? Need you ask or rather almost everyone now are wired. Absolutely the majority rules. Having to have 500 millions friends and users using the facebook network including the celebrities, executives, politicians, teachers, workers, ordinary people, people from all walks of life use facebook as their "companion" to technology process of communicating with their family, friends, co-workers, clients and customers to their products and service, facebook is the normal vehicular or utility tool for all of us aside from Google. Although Google's instant gratification is faster when it comes to search and rescue and instant feed news or breaking news.

So Mr. Mark Zuckerberg is richer than you think. You know I know he is the new Fortune mag poster boy now he also is the TIME person of the Year (2010). Why not? You are visible to the whole world because of his gift, a company that he founded and still manage up to now.

Nobody contest to the decision of the National Board of Review garnering 5 awesome awards: Best Picture: The Social Network. Best Director: David Fincher. Best Adapted Screenplay: Aaron Sorkin. Best Actor : Jesse Eisenberg. Best Sights and Sound: The Social Network

OF all the movies that were chosen to represent or the nominated movies only "The Social Network" made the difference. It is unique. The story is not redundant. Movie that you and I haven't seen yet in the past. I mean some of the entries are somewhat the same from previous movies in the past. In this movie of MZ is a NEWly brought up topic for the entire world to see on what a network is all about. What's behind the new technology. The good and bad side of friendship and corporate jungle, the evil that lurks, the unknown and ambiguity of human species. The technology that controls most of us here in the 21st Century. The controversial issues and the manifestation of good vs. evil syndrome. What friendship is to you and what is real family to your own mind thinking. Are we all different or we alike that deep within our realms we are all subservient to the network? Yeah better be if he can have all of us all employed. 500 million friends that's the total population of the Philippines + Canada + HK + Alaska + ?

That's the billion dollar question. Who's got millions? BILLions? That's an amazing amount of money. I don't know how the accountants can figure that out in their ledger. Even the calculator doesn't have enough digit space to fit the whole numbers.

Anyway congratulations to the WINNERS! I think the world needs NEW MOVIES like the "social network." We need something NEW or else moviegoers wont be patronizing old revived redundant movies.

What To Expect Next?

I happened to read the news about the Annual Golden Globe Awards schedule through the net.

Dec 10, 2010 - Deadline for receipt of nomination ballots

68th Annual Golden Globe Awards
Tue Dec 14, 2010 live announcement
5AM PST/8AM EST
Jan 16, 2011 Presentation

Are you excited? A lot of celebrities are probably too excited to be nominated. Just to be a part of this golden hollywood ceremony is one if not the best thing that a celebrity could ever imagined. Then having to accept awards? Totally satisfying meaning they are on top of the world and there's really no stopping the flashing of camera lights and offers upon offers of invitations, visitations, movie offers and thousands of interviews. You'll be the star and cover of all magazines, newspapers, you'll be all over the internet and mind you ...you wont be able to sleep. You'll get drown in lavish ample amount of parties and entertainment from day in and nite. You'll have a euphoria dreamlike fantasy ans everything seemed to glitter in gold and silver. You'll walk the walk as if you are in cloud 9. Whew! That's every hollywood star's imagination, wishes and dreams.

That's their imagination not mine. Although have to admit that I have a list of those I would like to nominate. Oh my, am I included in the judges' seat? Not that I know of. I'm just having sort of predicting the GG Awards winners and losers.

There is one movie that will surely garner lots of nominations and awards. To reveal it might spoil the whole event. So better keep quiet here. I hate spoilers so please to the media beware rumor mongering okay? Thanks.

Nothing to watch the other day so my hands been on to the remote control search button for quite sometime pushing the guide button back and forth. Then finally here's the movie of Will Smith > the Hancock. I know it's an old movie but what the heck I'm done with my household chores. I need time to rest on my lazy boy (chair). As I had my back unto the soft cushioned chair commercial stopped the movie and I searched for another movie down the other channel. It was "The Office" of Steve Carell on one of the channels. In this episode they are fund raising for those who were victimized by rabies. Actually you wont believe that his show was on two channels. Are they having sort of marathon just like the "Vampire Diaries"starring Nina and Stephen?

Then my son who is an avid fan of Will Smith took the remote control and he wants to watch Hancock. In this movie Will Smith has super power just like the "X Men." At first he was kind of feeling arrogant and don't know how to control his extra human power that some people thought he is an ass ----! His power is uncontrollable and he keeps breaking and destroying roads upon roads. Good they are all roads made of asphalt. Maybe that's it not so much concrete. While he was confined inside the correctional building noticed the marble wall inside his room. The irony of it all. Anyway this is an action film so it's more of an emotional drama rolled into one bit flash of seconds then the rest are special effects of his crime buster adventure fight against the bad guys. Mortal vs. immortal fight scenes. At least it had a happy ending.

Amazing Race 17

Watching the end game, the last part of the Amazing Race 17 can make me teary eyed. That no matter who you are whether you have a doctorate's degree, executive or whatever your strength or body built you have or no matter how high your IQ you'll reach to a point of critical review whether that race is really worth it or not. Yes for the sake of winning the $1 million in DOLLARS! That's a lot of money. You wont earn it in a month, in a year or even in two years by doing a menial job, nor even if you are a stock broker. One million dollars is $ 1,000,000 with 6 zeros!!!!!!!
But is that enough after you have encountered all the death defying stunts of a lifetime? probably you'll tell to yourself that's it...Never again.

Having to punish yourself going to 3rd world countries and eat the food that you never eaten before. Food that could turned your stomach upside down. Sweating from head to toes, not able to have clean tidy clothes and not able to have warm nice bath, traveling here and there with dirty filthy dirt include the germs on your hands and body. Being over fatigue and being sick and you think is it really worth it? Worst like boot camp right? Oh wait not really. Because in the army they really got to be in the war. So Amazing race is actually just surviving too many obstacles and tasks upon tasks to be performed and to be at the Pit stop at the end of every leg of the race. While in the army at the end of military traing deployment is inevitable and you end up in the war torn countries either to fight, protect and serve.

Amazing Race is just another BBA or Black Box Approach popularized by BF Skinner and was probably originated during the Nazi's regime. The fact of the matter is those who are into this kind of approach are more than willing to participate meaning they allowed themselves to be a willing participant. In other words you can say NO or back out from it because that kind of game is not by force. Or you can ask Mr. Bruckheimer the truth. Whatever...it's a race and it's to the extreme. Fear factor is more than to the extreme. One million dollars is a lot of money to be given away for nothing.

Lastly you don't get millions of dollars in the army as a prize that's the difference. Probably you get a medal of honor for valor and bravery.
